About

San Holo in Concert

His tracks blend sentimentality and confidence, levity and seduction, with an elegance that few DJs match. Born in the Netherlands in 1990, crackshot DJ and producer San Holo (Sander van Dijck) studied music production and guitar at Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam, going on to teach guitar. In 2012 he released his first EP as a DJ, ‘Corellia,' which started to turn heads and gain him acclaim; two years later, he signed to Heroid Recordings and released his ‘Cosmos' EP, landing on iTunes' Top 100 Electronic page. San Holo really blew up later that year, when he released a smokin', club-ready remix of Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode," which has scored a cool 175 million views on YouTube. In 2016, his single, the intoxicatingly gripping "Light," which he released on his own label (bitbird), debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. His romantic, groovy "I Still See Your Face" reached No. 31 on the Billboard Netherlands chart.

Like any great DJ, San Holo has made as much a name for himself from his lightning-hot collaborations and remixes as he has from his own formidable compositions. His indie-flavored R&B joint with James Vincent McMorrow, "The Future," exudes sexiness throughout its expansive textures. Other great collaborations have been his numerous tracks with The Nicholas ("They Just Haven't Seen It," "Hiding") and "Lift Me From the Ground," which features Sofie Winterson and reached No. 42 on the U.S. Dance chart. Of course, San Holo's remixes are always a satisfying main course within his catalog—other standouts are his renditions of Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and Nelly's "Ride Wit Me." As expected, San Holo is very active in the live DJ scene, and his shows capture all of the wonder and heart-palpitating enchantment that his music evokes.

    AMAZING TIME

by Nik on 11/8/21The Ritz - Raleigh

I had a BLAST at this concert!!! It was so nice to be able to go to one again, and they made it a safe environment. The bars and bathrooms never had too long of a wait, and everyone was very respectful. One of the best I’ve EVER been to! And San Holo did an encore song which was so great - he was PERFECT AS ALWAYS.

He is so cute. I love seeing San Holo preform live. The artists that played before him were great as well. The crowd that San draws in are nice. 10/10 would go again *heart eye emoji*

    One of best EDM concerts

by Alex on 4/30/19Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

San Holo’s guitar performances throughout his set were insanely good. Medasin, one of the openers, was quite good actually as well. This is perhaps the best-flowing, most melodic EDM concert I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend seeing it!

    Inspirational and Fun

by Reanimated on 4/30/19Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

The show far exceeded my expectations. San Holo is a man of many talents, and I'm very happy that I was able to witness them. As a former musician, this show was a huge inspiration for me to resurrect myself and to give performing new genres a try. Oh and by the way, the lights were fantastic!

    A must see

by C. E. on 12/18/18City National Civic - San Jose

The venue was awesome, the perfect size and plenty of space for dancing! San Holo and supporting artists were amazing, their ability to use instruments in electronic music makes their sounds unquie and entertaining. If you’re on the fence about going, do yourself a favor and buy tickets!

Amazing but way too short of a set!

by Mvsulliv on 11/6/18The Fillmore Charlotte presented by Cricket Wireless - Charlotte

I was seriously amped up for this show! I posted up for a centered view near the back so I wouldn’t be pushed around and would have roomnto dance. The opening acts were ok, didn’t like Baynkvery much. San Holo arrived and it was amazing! Great sound, impressive lights. He ONLY PLAYED AN HOUR. I have never been to a show that ended at 10:30pm and I found that even more crazy since it was day light savings and the clocks fall back! Felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth of show which was disappointing!

    BEST SHOW EVER

by Gryfans on 11/2/17The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

Went to the show just to see San Holo only. He's so good you need to save all your energy for him. Reason being is when he starts you will not need to ever sit back down. I dont even know why there are chairs at his concerts. He throws it down and keeps you on your feet and dancing. He made me saw the light. His performance is second to none. Easily my top five artists. It was a perfect night, to say the least. Had me feeling good about myself, like winning the jackpot at a casino. So good I am going to see him again in December.

San Holo show, not a happy camper!!!

by Mr2017 on 3/14/17Ryse Nightclub - St. Charles

So I purchased a table (4 seats) for this San Holo concert at Ryse Nightclub in the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles MO for Saturday March 11th. The show was scheduled for 9pm and around 5pm that day I received an email stating they we're moving this up an hour since the time change at 2am for the hour "Spring forward". So we arrive early as we were told to and upon arriving we're informed that the actual show wasn't starting any earlier..... Not sure if this is to get you to blow money in their casino for an hour, but that wasn't a huge issue, so we waited and a right before we were going to enter the show we decided to ask what time San Holo was going to perform. We all about lost it when they said MIDNIGHT!!!!!! I was thinking that they asked when the show was over.... So now we've been waiting an extra hour for no reason and then they tell us the artist we came to see won't be "DJ'ing" for 3 freaking hours!!! That means with the time change at 2am, if he only goes for 2 hours, it'll be 3am when the shows over. Needless to say we were pissed and there wasn't a thing we could do about! So we said screw it and decided to not even attend the show because of the crazy hours and we also had a room booked in Downtown St. Louis which is roughly 25 min away. We try to take an Uber back to our hotel but Uber's aren't allowed to pick people up at this Casino, only drop them off, so instead of $35, it's now $65. This was the absolute worst waste of time, money and energy to try and see someone we had been interested in watching preform for quite awhile now. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!
