There is something powerful about a chorus of voices. I loved the music, and the choreography was delightful and amazing. This show really means "Christmas"to me. Thank you so much for the loveliest evening. My sisters and I loved it!!

by Mark on 12/13/23Balboa Theatre - San Diego

It was such a fantastic show! We first went last year and plan to go next year. Everyone is so talented. We really liked the guest who won the super gay idle contest. She had such a great voice!

    Holiday Perfect

by Jonnie on 12/12/23Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Lots of energy, singing and dancing with a dash of camp for good measure. All the performers were engaged and really exceeded my expectations. While audience participation isn’t my thing, there was zero pressure to participate (meaning I didn’t feel embarrassed because I didn’t sing along, etc). Loved the orchestra and the conductor too. It’s a great addition to holiday activities!

    SD Gay Men’s Chorus

    by JF on 8/26/23

Amazing event watching the Mexico City and the San Diego choirs sing! I would give the event 5 stars except for the parking. I bought it with Ticketmaster. We put in the address from the web and when we got there the ticket was not recognized. So due to time we went in to park…only to find out that the entrance on the other side of the same garage was the correct entrance. So I paid $30 for parking instead of $10. It was frustrating and not the way to start a nice evening. Once there the event was marvelous.

    Wow!

    by Martinez on 8/3/23

I haven't been to many concerts. But I look forward to attending the next concert! I had such a great time this time. Very entertaining and I found myself smiling the whole time. It was very fun and having sat up in the balcony I still had a great view. The songs were great, the performance was awesome, and I loved the attire.

    That's Entertainment

    by JerryS on 8/1/23

They San Diego Gay Men's Chorus always puts on a great show, and has a variety of genres of music to offer. Combine them with the Gay Men's choruses of Mexico City and Tijuana, and you're in for a memorable night of song, dance and fun. I brought a party of 8 to the show on Saturday evening, and all left happy and singing. Also the message of unity against oppression was not lost on any of us.

Every show is a fun, transformative experience

by San Diego LGBTQ Ally (and Music Lover) on 6/22/23

The San Diego Gay Men's Chorus is an absolute delight to experience! Their musical ability is simply outstanding — I was captivated and so moved by their harmonies. Under the guidance of their new artistic director, their talent has absolutely soared to new heights. They seamlessly blend powerful vocals with incredible stage presence. From the moment of the first note, it's evident that the chorus is dedicated. (For me, they shine most during their holiday show, "Jingle"; their ability to connect emotionally with their audience creates a truly magical and unforgettable experience.) SDGMC is a shining example of artistic excellence, showcasing the transformative power of music and leaving a lasting impact on all who have the privilege to witness one of their shows.
