San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Tickets

Everything from start to finish was extremely vague for the star experience. Where to begin ohh maybe saying the concert started at 12 when it actually started at 3ish. Do you have to pay an additional admission to get in the gate? Where do you go to get in the gate we had 3 different answers 1 person sent us in a never ending line for people who had to pay ( didn't know if we did or not) finally 45 minutes later found an "unmarked"gate once in found the booth that was fine it was nice that they had someone walk you to the buffet and tell you how this works. I would do it again but be upfront.

Good experience with the actual rodeo and vendors. Only issue every year is the performers for the concerts. San Antonio seems to like to stay outdated and only gets artist that haven’t made music in years.

So much fun. Not your standard fare, but the rodeo is so entertaining. The cowboys and cowgirls are so talented. The Old Dominion concert following was excellent. The vendor booths were numerous with kinds of products, all with excellent quality. Will be back for sure.

Overall easy to get into the event. We took a ride-share vs driving to avoid the traffic headache and parking lot mess. Lots of things to see and do. The rodeo event itself went well and stayed on track with the concert after. There are plenty of food options and of course the “county fair” like experience with carnival rides. The exhibit hall with vendors was large and fairly spaced to maneuver through the crowds. I will say it seemed like a lot of repeat vendors or boutiques after you got through the first few areas. Prices were definitely on the high end for some things. For watching the live animal events, seating was a little limited so plan early to grab a bandstand seat early or else you are sideline watching if space warrants.

Honestly didn’t think I would like it. Being from Brooklyn New York. But I had a great time and will definitely be going to future rodeos

I hate to leave a bad review but since you asked, we were third row star experience, third year buying star experience tickets to see them but first year and time getting to see them ever. Love them, love the songs and of course the voices. We couldn’t hear them at all, when talking or singing you could not hear a word that was said. It’s not there fault I’m sure and it was still awesome to see them and I could tell what song was playing the sound was just so muffled something was very off, so A+ for the guys being there and awesome F for not being able to hear a word they said. I don’t know maybe we were to close but I don’t think that was it we’ve been to two other ground shows and could hear what was coming out the mic.

First time at San Antonio Rodeo. Venue was easy to get to and easy to find seats. The seats were a little narrow, but not uncomfortable. Old Dominion was fantastic. Well worth the price.

We were vacationing in San Antonio and caught the rodeo on our last day and its first day. It was so fun and so incredibly well run. Never a dull moment. And our tickets were a great value since they included the fairgrounds, rodeo, and concert. So glad we went.

Terrible sound. Videos during rodeo were not understandable. When the lead singer talked, you could barely understand him.

Opening night! Family had a blast, Old Dominion came on about 930ish. Got there at 7ish and the family will admit they are happy I rushed them haha. Sheep, horseback and bull riding were all great performances/entertainment. It was a great first-time family experience. Our new family tradition!

Perfect organization, safe environment ,love it. I will return next year for sure!

Parking was super far away and required you to take a crowded shuttle. Rocks around the tents were super hard to walk on and the tent number layout didn't make sense.

There was no parking in the general lot or in the overflow lot. We purchased a parking pass, but couldn’t use it. Then, the shuttle line was too long, not enough buses.

Don't pay for parking for this event .. use ride share much easier.. this event was terrible over all.. to many people.mot enough shuttles .. bad experience.. never again

I have come to this event for years now. Always been fun. This year for some reason they changed the parking and shuttles service. People had to walk, could park, and even paid for parking and told they oversold it. Just a mess. Lots of people gave up and just left...sad.

There was an hour to hour and a half delay due to traffic when parking and getting on the shuttle buses to the event.

The venue was horrible from the ride share drop off to the grounds that smelled like sewer. The security directed the ride share down this narrow road blocked off with parked cars on the street causing drivers to barley move. We paid for a ticket to get on the grounds and a ticket to the Texas Lawman tent to enjoy food and open bar. With that said, the food ran out by 6:30 and the bar closed down for over an hour where people either stood in line and waiter or left all together. The music was alright however the organizer of this tent allowed the sale of so many tickets people were standing all over to include the dance floor. In the past, this was a great place to kick off the rodeo. The 2024 experience was not worth our time or money.
