    Best night ever!!!

by Lightbulb on 2/13/24The Wellmont Theater - Montclair

This genuinely may have been the best concert I have ever been to. The Wellmont is the only venue I've been to that opened its doors early (by 3 mins, but that's still pretty amazing), and the whole process of getting in was so smooth. The concert itself was PHENOMENAL! All of the Friends are SO incredibly talented, and it's really moving to see them having so much fun on stage. Sammy Rae is such an interactive performer, and she makes each fan feel loved.

by Super T on 10/13/23The Depot - Salt Lake City

I hadn't heard much of Sammy Rae but have a friend who is a fan. Glad I went with him because this was one of thr best concert I've been to as far as live musical ability and stage presence/audience interaction goes. I will certainly be seeing them again.

No free seats available, even on the sides.

by Trevor Fielding on 10/13/23The Depot - Salt Lake City

It was a cool venue (The Depot) Except there were no seats available unless you wanted to pay an additional $40. I was really tired (long day as a university student) and sat on the uncomfortable floor, and actually ended up leaving 1.5 hrs in because the opener was STILL playing. They were cool, but if I had a seat and/or the band I wanted to see started playing, I would've stayed later. Bummed I didn't get to see Sammy.

I Wanna be Friends with Ya!

by Ash on 10/9/23Madrid Theatre - Kansas City

I discovered Sammy Rae and The Friends over a year ago and have been hooked ever since. When I realized they were coming to KC, I immediately knew I would be making the drive from STL. Their opening band, Fleece, was an amazing time! They had a unique sound and a really charismatic band. Sammy Rae and The Friends did not disappoint! My only complaint was that the night had to end. They cultivated an electric atmosphere that was warm and inviting, and you couldn't help but dance and smile and cry and laugh along with them! I was really happy to see that they seem genuinely close-knit, and it was reflected in their performance. Each member of the band had opportunities to shine, winning over the crowd immediately. There was never a dull moment on-stage. No matter where you were standing, one of the Friends were soloing or dancing in a way that made us feel like we were seeing something unique, something special. I'll be attending any Sammy Rae and The Friends concert I can in the future, without hesitation! Next time, I'll bring more friends with me! Thanks for a great night, Sammy Rae! Truly one of the best I've ever had!

    Basically Therapy

    by D:) on 10/1/23History - Toronto

Sammy Rae and the Friends never fail to put on an unreal show. “The friends” as Sammy refers to them go out of their way to make sure their shows have a welcoming and inclusive environment. Their music is fantastic, fun, and full of self love. You will be dancing and smiling the whole time! Skip therapy, go see Sammy Rae and the Friends instead.

    Amazing band & venue

by sadie on 10/1/23History - Toronto

Stellar band with a vocalist who sings incredibly difficult tunes and never seems to be off key. The artist said the venue treated them well on stage in a story they were telling which I appreciated. Love when i venue treats artists well. Also… the bathrooms were great! All gender neutral so there was no big line up for the women stalls

    incredible talent!

by happy camper on 10/1/23History - Toronto

Every single member of this band is ridiculously talented, which makes them an absolute JOY to watch and listen to. They go WILD live, all the riffs you could have never imagined playing on top of the known studio recordings. Absolutely incredible! I loved their little box of surprises where the band members would go to get a new tiny percussion instrument every other song. The most musically accomplished band I've ever seen live!

Loved the band, but couldn't understand the talking

by Blake on 9/29/23House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

I love this band and they sounded incredible live! My biggest issue was that I had a tough time understanding what they were saying between sets. When theyre just chatting and talking about the audience or giving some history or talking to each other. That's a fun aspect of live music and I had a very hard time understanding them. I was standing behind the audio booth so maybe it was where I was, but that was also the best spot I could find to watch.

    Band was amazing

by Ewan on 9/23/23State Theatre - Portland

The band was amazing, enormous stage presence and great chemistry. The mix was a pretty muddy but the venue we were at is pretty notorious for that, so not on them. But damn great show
