Sam Tompkins is an R&B-pop singer from Eastbourne, England. His debut EP, Who Do You Pray To, was released in 2022 via Island Records following a steady stream of singles that date back to the singer-songwriter’s very first independent release in 2017. Shortly after dropping his EP, Tompkins follow-up single “Lose It All” became his first entry on the Official Singles Chart. “To the Moon,” his collaboration with fellow TikTok breakout JNR Choi, also scored him a bonafide crossover hit by hitting the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and peaking at the top of the Rhythmic Airplay and Rap Airplay tallies. Tompkins’ most recent single, “Someone Else,” arrived in Nov. 2023 ahead of his latest tour of the U.K., Europe and Ireland.
