Sam Smith has been captivating audiences with their unique high tenor since first appearing as the ebullient vocalist on Disclosure’s 2012 breakout single “Latch.” At only 22, the London-born singer instantly became one of the UK’s greatest pop exports after releasing their first album, In the Lonely Hour (2014), which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart and went on to achieve platinum certification five times over in the U.S. The album also earned Smith four Grammys, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year (for the Darkchild remix of “Stay with Me”), as well as Best New Artist. Smith then co-wrote and performed the opening theme “Writing’s on the Wall” for the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which earned them an Academy Award. Smith’s 2017 sophomore album The Thrill of It All cemented their place at pop music’s forefront, opening atop the Billboard 200, while 2020’s Love Goes boasted collaborations with genre-leading contemporaries like Calvin Harris, Normani, Burna Boy and Demi Lovato. In 2023, Smith released their fourth full-length, Gloria, featuring the Grammy-winning Kim Petras duet, “Unholy,” which became the singer’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 — and the first song by an openly non-binary artist and transgender artist, respectively, to reach the chart’s top spot.

    This may be one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. Sam Smith has a truly stunning voice and it’s somehow even better live. The stage and every aspect was so thought out and goes completely with their aesthetic for Gloria. It was more like a theatrical stage than a concert stage which I absolutely loved. The concert had me captivated from the first song all the way to the last. We went through heartbreak, love, beauty and some of the raunchier things as well. It was beautifully done and paced really well. It was the first concert in a while that had me so lost in it that I wasn’t even thinking about time or anything outside of the songs and sights. I also loved that they incorporated such love and attention to every member on the stage. The backup vocalist singing the duets, the dancers getting solos, the instrumentalists getting a time to shine. It’s clear that Sam Smith cares about every member of the concert. Especially the audience. There was so much love and gratitude and it was truly one of the best concert experiences I’ve attended. Well done! Cannot wait to see them again!

    Absolutely worthwhile to go out on a Tuesday night for Sam Smith. The show was well-organized, and the staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Even felt safe when there were officers standing by SkyTrain entrances to help guiding the public after show. All in all, Sam Smith is way too adorable and the show was perfect in every way, I love all the music, performances, stage design and outfits. Would definitely hope for Sam's future tours.

    I enjoyed Jessie Reyes opening! She was amazing and set the tone for the rest of the concer for Sam Smith. Sam Smith was amazing as well! Love how he addresses the audience and interaction. This will concert will be unforgettable! Sam Smith and Jessie are my favorite artist and this was the first time seeing them in concert!
