Long wait
by Karavolleys on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5I enjoyed both Michael Ray and Sam Hunt, but the wait between the 2 acts was way too long. I have been to serval bigger name concerts before and I have never waited that long, so it was very surprising.
Opening Act, Michael Ray was better! Disappointed
by MusicLover30062 on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5He took 60 minutes to come out after the great opening act. 60 minutes! And it wasn't because of some elaborate stage setup. The stage was ready after 10-15 minutes. You are not some huge performer like Luke Bryan or Kenny Chesney. Ridiculous! Very Boring. Terrible Acoustics. Terrible lighting. Very disappointed. Was a big fan.
Loved Micheal ray & Sam hunt
by Momoftwojz on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Took my daughter and about 7 other girls. They fell in love with Micheal Ray! Great voice and put on a great performance! And we all Love Sam Hunt! He has one if the smoothest voices ever! The only thing I as a parent had a problem with was that for some reason they had all those teenagers stand there for an hour between the opener and Sam hunt. This I didn't understand. I thought that was excessive!! I'm sure it was for alcohol sales but I didn't appreciate it. Esp when 90% of the crowd was under 21! I've never been to a concert where it took them an hour to come out on stage. That part I was disappointed in but the music was amazing'
You wait longer than he plays
by jgood566 on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5It is just sad that you pay money to go to a concert and you wait longer for Sam Hunt to come on stage longer than he actually plays for. To me this is just a slap in the face from the performer. There was no reason that we needed to wait 45 minutes to an hour after the opening act for Sam Hunt to come out. Would not go see him again unless the tickets were $20 or less again, not worth paying any more than that, I can go stand in line at Wal-Mart for 45 minutes and no spend a penny. Venue is way to small for a performer like Sam Hunt. It would be like seeing Kenny Chesney or Luke Bryan at the Tabernacle, it just doesn't make sense.
Pretty awesome
by Danman2014 on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5The concert was pretty awesome, but the other audience members were not. Since it was general admission, it was first come-first serve for standing room. We got there two hours before the doors opened, so we got a good spot only three rows from the front. All the over-enthusiastic fans ruined it by shoving, pushing, and getting faaarr too close. The sound was overwhelming because we were so close to the speakers. I couldn't really hear them when they are talking because there was a slight echo. Overall, it was an amazing concert.

He was awesome once he came on. He kept us waiting almost 45 min after the opener went off stage. Michael Ray was great, but thre waiting after was the worst I've been to in a while. Don't know if he was sick, or what?! He only played for an hour.
Amazing!
by CLee87 on 12/8/14Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5Sam Hunt puts on such a great unique show. He is redefining music with a genre of his own.

Sam Hunt was great live and definitely put on an excellent performance but he didn't even take the stage until 10:00 (the show started at 8:00). Also, the opening act played for an hour, he was decent but not who I had paid to see. Then there was an hour wait in between his set and Sam taking the stage. I would definitely see Sam Hunt again, but I would hope that it would be more focused on him with less wait time in between, especially since we were just standing in general admission seating and didn't have actual seats.
