  • Worst concert

by Iluvcntry on 8/16/15Pennysaver Amphitheater - FarmingvilleRating: 1 out of 5

The sound quality was horrible. At points you couldn't hear him sing. Not sure why he sang Whitney Houston and Cindy Lauper. And why the love for Kayne? Brookhaven Ampitheater had only portapotties with the longest lines. Overall the worst concert ever.

  • Same Hunt was all hype

    by Shelly11755 on 8/16/15Pennysaver Amphitheater - FarmingvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Given that his sound tech was not well trained as the mic kept giving screeching feedback through the speakers when Sam walked around, he just sang off key one too many times. For filler as he also covered rap, Whitney Huston and a few other 90's-2010's hits that just did not relate to his theme. I know he has an album out...why couldn't he just play all of his songs? Sam dressed like a white kid trying to be thug on stage. MyCountry96.1 definitely Hyped his up way more than deserved. Michael Ray was the best part of the show. I wish Sam the best but he needs singing lessons...studios do wonders to correct vocals. I left early during Sam Hunt's performance because I just couldn't tolerate it.

I loved my seats. It was just a great night!!! First time at this venue. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to see Sam Hunt.

  • Sam Hunt - ear and eye candy

by PattieNYC on 8/16/15Pennysaver Amphitheater - FarmingvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great. Seems like some mike issues and the sound wasn't the best, but the energy of the performers made up for it. Would love to hear more Tyrone!

  • Love love love

Sam Hunt put on a great show!! He's going to go places! Loved it!!

  • by Anonymous on 4/13/15Timmons Arena - GreenvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Sam Hunt did a great job other than not having a full band. It was a little distracting with him going back and forth to the sound board (or whatever that electronic board was) between each song. The acoustic performance was GREAT! Michael Ray was AWESOME! Band and all!!! We'll definitely look him up when he's on tour and close by again! The "pre" pre-show hip-hop rapper was NOT enjoyable!

Sam. Was. Amazing! There was great energy to the show, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see him perform in a smaller venue. He was engaging, went out into the crowd, and just allowed for a fun night. I can't wait to see him again!

  • Sam Hunt @ the LC

    by Karbarx23 on 3/18/15LC Pavilion - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible! The best concert I've ever been to! His songs for the transitions got the crowd ready to party. Also, great choice of cover songs.

  • Sam Hunt knows how to put on a show!!!

by Anonymous on 3/16/15LC Pavilion - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Spending the night listening to Sam Hunt was a night perfectly spent. Not only were his original songs upbeat and fun to sing along to, he included current pop culture songs into his set to keep the audience pumped up between songs. 10/10 would recommend :)

  • Amazing show as usual!

I have seen sam before & his performances have always been amazing! He did great! However, the LC was too crowded. Couldn't even walk to the bathroom without weaving through a crowd.

Sam Hunt & his band put on an incredible show! He played songs from his new release, songs he wrote for other artists & 90's classics. The moment he walked up to the crowd you could feel the whole building become ecstatic. Great crowd connection!

  • Sam Hunt - Amazingly Talented & Handsome as Ever

Sam always puts on such a great show. Wish he talked to the crowd more like he did before he hit it real big. He has an amazing crowd interaction - let it show! Loved all of his originals along with his covers - Fancy by Reba!!? Are you kiddin me? That was AWESOME! Made my night!

  • Unforgettable Night with Native Run and Sam Hunt!

    by AMM8806 on 2/17/15Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I was lucky enough to score some pre-sale tickets for Sam Hunt at $25 per person for Paradise Rock Club. The show ended up getting moved to the House of Blues due to popularity, and the prices sky rocketed from there, so I was happy that I was able to get my tickets at a much lower price. Native Run opened up the show at around 8:00 and their set ran for about an hour. I became an instant fan. They were energetic and their songs were original and catchy. I would not be surprised if they found great success in country music. They ended their set around 9:00 and Sam Hunt came on around 9:20-9:25 which I was extremely happy with, especially after reading all these reviews that some shows waited over an hour for him to come on. How is it even possible that he's even more attractive in person? If I remember correctly, he sang every song on his current album "Montevallo" and threw in some cover songs that were well-known. The sound quality was great and Sam interacted with the crowd throughout the night, moving around a lot and even jumping down into the crowd and taking "selfies" with some fans. I loved that the show was 18+ so we didn't have any issues with obnoxious, drunk high school kids. The only complaint I have is that I felt that the GA floor seats were a bit overcrowded, despite trying to remain at the back so my short self could see better. I swear every person over 6 ft. flocked to our area, but that comes with the territory with GA tickets. I would say the best seats in the house are on the 2nd floor, but get there early to get a spot up against the rail, otherwise you won't see a thing! I would have much preferred floor seats with actual seats, but it did feel more personal which was nice. If you haven't seen Sam Hunt in concert yet, you're missing out! Get on that.

Sam Hunt was incredible!!! It was a sold out concert on Valentine's day and everyone was super into it. He has an amazing voice and stage presence and came down into the crowd several times. He sang the entire Montevallo Cd and most of the songs he wrote for other artists. He also did several covers of some older country hits. I loved that he played some r&b/hip hop in between songs so everyone was still dancing/singing. He was incredible.

  • Sam Hunt: The Next Mega Star

by ShandraMc on 2/8/15House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was amazing from the opening act to the encore. Native Run was the opening act, and they REALLY got the crowd hyped. Rachel, the lead singer, broke out into Left Eye's rap in "Waterfalls" in their cover. The crowd went NUTS. Sam comes out and does practically every song off the Montevallo album, along with medleys of everyone from Reba McIntyre to Beyoncé. He was SO interactive with the audience, he had girls shrieking all over the arena. By the time the show was over, Sam was sweating from giving it his all. And all of us in the audience? Well, we were sweating too. :-)

  • Sam Hunt is amazeballs
