About

Saliva's 2002 “Back into Your System” album release not only put the band on the map, but shot them to No. 19 on the Billboard 200 charts. Saliva's biggest hit from the album, "Always," topped the Modern Rock Chart at No. 1 and No. 51 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Full-throttled and full of energy, Saliva's latest single, "All Around the World," featuring new frontman Bobby Amaru, has brought some fresh blood to the band's sound and their live concert performances as well. Throw into the mix their latest hit track, “One More Night,” and the band's current tour with road mates, 12 Stones and Royal Bliss, is an explosion of fierce rock.

Saliva's roots are firmly planted in their hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, where the band originally formed in late 1996. Within the first year of forming, the band's first album, which was self-titled, was released on the Rocking Chair Records label. Since their inception, Saliva has been making waves everywhere they go. A few years after their “Survival of the Sickest” album, they released “Blood Stained Love Story,” which peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 with its track, “Ladies and Gentlemen," leading the way to top out at No. 2 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart. Saliva's international ticket sales touched the shores of Japan, South Korea and Europe when the band hit the road with fellow rockers Sevendust. In addition to their success in touring and the charts, the band has been a staple on Sirius Satellite Radio's “Octane 20” with songs like "Don't Question My Heart" and have crossed over to be featured on the "WWE: The Music, Vol. 8" album. They've also provided the official theme song for the ECW brand. With a brand new sound and a recently released album, Saliva will continue impressing their listeners in the new year.

    First Small Venue

by cebear on 9/25/18Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The show was good except for the 45 minute intermission. Foundry came on and they did good (not a huge fan of their songs but that's ok), but then we waited forever for Saliva to come out. While they still played an hour, a good chunk was put into the lead singer playing acoustic cover songs. Which would have been cool if they weren't mostly slower songs. Definitely lost my mojo at that point. The venue was good but maybe more seating because of the long slow moments.

    Saliva @ the Canyon Club

by Kuypix on 5/30/16The Canyon - Agoura Hills

As always, Saliva brought their A game. If you haven't seen them with Bobby Amaru, you're missing out. Their set was only about an hour long, they should and could have easily played a 90 min set (so they could have played a song or two from Rise Up)

    Saliva...

by Anonymous on 5/23/16Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - Cabazon

So the band sounded incredible, but without the original singer it was a complete and total disaster. The current lead singer sounded like a drowning cat. The venue was terrible and security were extremely rude. Save your money and buy the old cd, your better off.

    Saliva was awesome:)

by Tbabes24 on 1/17/16State Theatre - St Petersburg

It was our first time at the State theater and we had such a great time. The bands that performed were all good and the drinks were inexpensive. It was my first time seeing Saliva in person and I loved them! Great night!

The concert was amazing. Even though there wasn't a big crowd, you would not know by Saliva's performance. We got to be up close for a performance like they would have given at Rock on the Range.

    New singer doesn't disappoint

by Skaarj on 3/9/12State Theatre - St Petersburg

Saliva has a new lead singer as of 2012. While I miss the stage presence that Josey brought, Bobby Amaru did a great job of keeping the crowd engaged and rocking the whole time. It was great to see him at the merch booth after the show, too. I've seen Saliva many times over the years, and they've still got it. Rock on, guys!

    Filter stole the show!

by Rockaholic40 on 8/14/11Pharr Events Center - Pharr

All the bands did great, but it was Filter that made the show. They had the crowd going! Excellent time! By the way, standing room only is the way a Rock show should be.

Filter prooved they know how to rock!!

by Oscie on 8/13/11Pharr Events Center - Pharr

Saliva sucks. Plain and simple, never went to the concert for them. It was all FILTER's show. And I'm glad Filter player before Saliva did so they saved me some time. Well worth the ticket price. Hope this band never fades away.

    Filter rocked the house!

by NifuNifa on 8/11/11Pharr Events Center - Pharr

The 4 bands put up an amazing show. Heart Set Self Destruct, a band that I had never heard off before, had plenty of energy in the stage. The singer did great in getting the crowd started for the night. Overall, songs were good, and hopefully these young guys will keep on climbing up. Cute singer and drummer. Anew Revolution was a band I was really looking forward too. I really believe these guys will be famous someday. They had the crowd jumping and fists all over the air. The bass did a great job supporting the lead singer as he was killing the guitar. Drummer has crazy skills. The voice the singer has lots of value. The pitch and tone he would reach made people want to scream along with him! Best song of them was Broken Bones. The singer, joey is from the Valley, so you could tell they were rocking it even more with the home vibe. Filter was the best of the night! Crowd jumping in unison, horns all over! This was also the most crowd interaction out of the other bands. There was crowd participation with the usual "hell yeah/fuck yeah" screaming. They were pretty cool when a little kid invaded the stage, they played it cool with the guy and allowed him to head bang with the big boys. The mosh pit was pretty rowdy, but no injuries. OVERALL, FREAKING AWESOME! Saliva rocked! The performance they pulled was of 4.5stars. Best songs were BADASS and ALWAYS! They also did a bit of We WILL ROCK YOU, and as a huge QUEEN fan, I loved it (the crowd sang along insanely). After the show, AR and HSSD, provided the fans with class A hospitality. They were all pretty cool and not the type who lets 'fame' get to their heads. Pictures, signatures, and conversations were had. I got to hang out with AR for about 25mins, and even scored some free goodies. The guys are just amazingly cool and laid back. Saliva showed up later, once they finished the meet and greet with those lucky ones with special passes. They took pictures and signed autographs for everyone else. Filter was the only one who didn't made the big appearance, but it was because they were being interviewed by the local radio station.

    Awesome

by SCarrion on 8/11/11Pharr Events Center - Pharr

I took my daughter and she loved it! The band members were friendly. I expected to be out by 10:30 PM and it wasn't over until midnight! Fans that purchased tshirts from the band were given a bracelet to meet and greet the band members. It was well worth watching!

    Saliva and Filter was awesome!!

by Helleberg73 on 7/21/11Heartland Events Center - Grand Island

I took a friend with me to this concert, usually I go with my husband, and as we were waiting for the show to start we were given meet and greet passes so we got to go backstage and meet the members of Saliva and Filter. They were very nice and let us take a picture with all of them. The show was amazing!! I had seen Saliva before so I knew they would be great but I had never seen Filter before so I wasn't sure what to expect. They deffinitely didn't disappoint. I look forward to seeing them both again in the future.

    Filter and Anew Revolution ROCKED!!!

by Filterfan on 7/21/11Heartland Events Center - Grand Island

I was kind of at dissapointed out the turn out for the concert to begin with. This was my first concert at Heartland Events Center, so I am not use to such a small venue. Saliva played more cover songs than their own, but I wasn't there for them. Anew Revolution was really good, and I wish the radio station 103.1 fm up here would have played some of their music before the concert. Filter was the reason I went and I know they were bummed at the small crowed and lack of noise, but once again the radio station 103.1fm doesn't really play their music, but besides that Richard Patrick and the band put on a fantastic show and I hope to be able to see them again but maybe in the Lincoln or Omaha area!

    Saliva

by Kooliolio on 6/13/11Texas Club - Baton Roughe

We drove in from Houston (to Baton Rouge) to see the show for a mini weekend getaway. The Texas Club is a cool bar/music hall. The opening bands were really good (Digital Summer and Merryweather). The bar is really suited for live music and the bands didn't disappoint. The energy level was high and the crowd was really into it. The one drawback was the music did overpower the singing - the mics could have been turned up so the words popped out more.
