This was our first visit to a SLU basketball game. My son (9yrs) just started playing for his school and I wanted him to see how the big boys operate. He is now a BIG fan. Now he is asking me if he can go to SLU for college... Not a bad seat in the house. Side note: we are now major fans of McBroom. Love a player who hustles.
Chaifetz is a perfect venue to see any event. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. This was are first college basketball game and we had a good time. Billikens won! The fans in our area were varied. ( College aged, young families, middle aged and retired.)
Billikens are fine this year. Play was mostly good with a few series that could have been better.
Chaifetz Arena is an excellent great place to watch a basketball game. Not a bad seat in the house. I've sat in a lot of different spots and the sightlines are pretty much great from anywhere. The 4 GIANT video boards in the corners are awesome. The Billikens are fun to watch.
It was like most early December games.. sloppy at times. streaky.. one team on a run, then the other team. Both good teams.. Top 20 to 30 in the country. What I hated was the guy spilling his beer as he entered the row and getting my pants and shoe soaked - then he didn't apologize or anything. I was the one that had to go find help to clean it up or I would have been standing in it all day.
Great time, great game, excellent seats. Spent time with family and met great fans.
Arena was nice, crowd was okay. Thought it might be a bit more lively with a highly ranked team in to play.
