I can’t remember when a ticket to a sports even was under $20. These guys play their hearts out for the fans. The food trucks are excellent, the beer is discounted if you get there early and the fans are so fun. Highly recommend!
We are a family of four, two adults and two children of 7 and 10, in the Sacramento area for the first time and excited to watch the Sac Republic FC home game. Since we are visiting USA and this region for few months only, we were excited by the idea! Unfortunately, all went wrong. We arrived at the game 20 minutes before the game ended because we were stuck in traffic jams for 1h30 around the stadium! The common entrance for the stadium was closed and we were directed towards some main entrance with hundreds of other visitors, to realize, after waiting in the jams, that they were going to attend some other event at the same fair ground. Nobody from the organization was there to direct the traffic. On top of that, once at the gate, we were told to back off because that entrance was only for the fair ground and not for the match! Again, no more directions on where to go. It turned out that we were sent to another entrance, which was eventually decided to be "Exit only", and we were sent back to the main entrance again, from which we were kicked out in the first place! We ended up parking savagely in a private parking lot risking a fine. NEVER ever go to assist to a Sac Republic match again. Organization around the stadium is simply awful.
There were plenty of staff to help navigate parking. I purchased some of the cheapest seating which I realized were not to far from the most expensive seats. Overall good deal on seating. I do wish they had multiple screens showing the game. Food was tasty! Good amount of food vendors. Great event for family and friends. I will definitely be coming back!
Good crowd and easy to drive to the fairgrounds. That said, the quality of the stadium is low even for minor league sports. Most seats are cheap metal bleachers which the supporters section stomp on for most of the game. The sound even as a home fan gets old quickly. The bleachers also get very hot in the sun and probably pretty cold some nights. Food selection is set up like the fair but quality is poor. And prices ($5.50 for a water, $7.50 for slice of what tastes like school food pizza, $15 beer) are surprising high compared to other USL stadiums. Hopefully they are using profits to improve the stadium. It’s only 10 years old but feels a lot older since it was built more like a town park than a real stadium.
Was my first ever real life sports event I went to. It was loud and fun and I’m going to others after that. Only complaint was the screen in the upper left corner was a bit small, but it didn’t really matter cause all the seats gave a good view of the game.
Wow, what a great event. The crowd was awesome, everyone there to have a good time, great family atmosphere. The staff at the event were extremely friendly and helpful, 10/10 would and will go again
This was an open cup game so food was sparce and expensive. That said, we came for the game and it did not disappoint!
The game was really intense and thrilling. Fans were loud and supportive. Amazing performance by the players, can’t wait for the next round at home!!
Best players in the league. Best fans in the league.
I'm a big guy. And the seats are very small for me. It wasn't comfortable. We need to do something for convenience. In general, everything is fine
Great experience with my son and friends! Their last kick saved and our last kick scored!! GO REPUBLIC!!!
We really enjoyed watching the match this past Saturday! Our three boys and their friend had a ton of fun getting loud and yelling from the bleachers, lol! Great experience!
Will love to go in to more events through ticketmaster app.. thanks
Had a great time at the sold out game. Lots of energy and excitement. The team didn't disappoint! A couple of things that might have helped make it even better would first be at the seat choice point while ordering and then upon getting in and heading to seats. While picking out the seats there were several listings for seats with restricted views. It might have been nice to state what the restricted view would be (i.e. post, railing, sound booth, pillar, etc.). Having been to the stadium at least once before we were able to guess that our chosen seats would have the railing in our sight line. We were ok with that, since it was a sold out game and knew what we were getting into. Actually turned out to be lucky because we unexpectedly had a family member that had an injury that required crutches and we were on the walkway level so he had extra room to stretch out his leg. The other thing that could have helped was a dedicated spot for wheelchairs and strollers. Thank goodness for the helpful staff at the Customer Service tent. They allowed us to leave the wheelchair with them during the game so we didn't have to worry about whether it would be there when we returned or not. Thank you for letting us leave it with you. We appreciated the courtesy extended in our unexpected circumstances. All in all a great night and we look forward to more like it.
We beat an MLS team for the third time in a row. One to go.
What an INCREDIBLE experience. The energy, excitement, why this city doesn’t have an MLS team yet is just behind me. It’s absolutely criminal.
Republic wins in Kicks from the mark 5-4. First second division team to mke final. Positive energy!
One of The greatest Game of the City!!!! Has and awesome time
Absolutely loved it. Can't wait to go back and stomp my feet!
