About

Russell Howard, one of the UK’s funniest and most successful comedians, returns to his first love, live stand-up, with his first tour for three years. Wonderbox follows his sell-out, thrice-extended, 2011 UK tour, which included three sold out dates at London’s O2.

In this new show, the star and creator of the award-winning hit TV show, Russell Howard’s Good News, promises us more of his trademark brand of upbeat and razor-sharp comedy. Don’t miss the chance to see this unique comedian on his biggest tour to date; back on stage, on-top of the world, doing what he does best.

    Excellent!

by musiclady79 on 3/25/22Town Hall - New York

I absolutely loved the show! I had been waiting a long time for a chance to see Russell perform live and he did not disappoint. Russell was hysterically funny, with the typical poignant moments sprinkled in. He did a great job with the apparent impromptu interchange with an audience member who drew his attention by shouting out that they had met in "real life" once. Funny stuff. Well done!

    Funny and cozy

by Sara on 3/22/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

Love Russell Howard! He was hysterical as were both of his openers. Did not know the venue was going to be standing room only but it was still a good time. It wasn't so packed that your toes were getting stepped on but people were standing on each wall and by the bar for the show

    Amazing Show

by MB on 3/22/22Town Hall - New York

Russell Howard had me thinking and laughing all at the same time. I like how after 2 years of waiting for the show it finally happened.

    He was my favorite comedian

by Calphurnia on 3/22/22Town Hall - New York

Russell Howard has gone down hill. He’s regurgitating many jokes he used in the past and he makes up a lot of stuff. Some of it funny, some of it not so much. He’s also gone on the bandwagon of comedians can do no harm. I’m tired of it. Do we all make mistakes? Absolutely but is it ok to sweep everything under the carpet as just a laugh? No. His worship of the Ukrainian President just because he’s a comedian, is problematic at best. I probably won’t go and see him again.

Very nice to see him live!

by K on 3/22/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

The venue is small. And I wish audio was better. There were several times I missed the joke bc I couldn't hear him well.

    Amazing!

by Thrilled Audience Member on 3/22/22Town Hall - New York

Russell Howard’s show in NYC on March 19, 2022 was awesome! He had great interaction with the audience and really thought on his feet, as evidenced a few times by his response to audience comments/shout outs. His thoughts and humor were on point. I would definitely recommend seeing his show and I hope he comes back to the US again!

Russel Howard is an outstanding comedian who is heart felt, hysterical and has the energy and wit of Robin Williams.

Awesome and needed if you want to truly LAUGH OUT LOUD!!

by Eddie B. on 3/22/22Town Hall - New York

I've watched Russell's show on Youtube over Covid and I loved it. Russell was awesome! I couldn't get tickets before his tour was rescheduled. I'm so glad I follow him on social media. I grabbed this ticket in New York as soon as I realized Boston was sold out! I drove downs from MA and it couldn't have been better!! Kudo's as well to the comics opening for Russell. Make sure you see him in a city near you!! Definitely one of the top comics in the world.

    My sides literally hurt afterwards

by Chillibeer on 3/21/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

Natural born funny guy who has crafted the funniest show plus the ability to switch to blistering improvisation at any moment. A pure luxury to see a comedian of this level at a small venue ( please keep doing the small venues as well Russ)

    Absolutely Brilliant

by Paige on 3/21/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

Russell was his usual wonderful self. Despite being repeatedly sidetracked, there was never lull in the laughter. His openers were also a treat.

    Russel Howard FTW!!!

by Easty on 3/21/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

This was the absolute best stand up show I’ve ever seen. Russell Howard’s was so quick-witted and just genuinely joyful. How crowdwork was great, and the stories he told, such a great night. The venue clearly isn’t usually setup for seating, so the plastic folding chairs weren’t the most comfortable, but my friends and I were laughing too much to care. (Albeit laughing carefully so we didn’t break the chairs.)

    Russell Howard- amazing!

by G. on 4/6/19Gramercy Theatre - New York

Rusell Howard was amazing. My seats were not. I was behind the sound board and my legs were pressing into the chairs in front of me. However, Russell delivered such a strong comedic performance that it was worth every minute of pain. He needs to come upstate a bit to the Hudson Valley. Can’t wait to see him again!

    Russell and Max ftw

    by slcampbelll on 5/28/17Sixth & I - Washington

This was the second time I got to see Max Rosenblum and Russell Howard perform back to back and both times, it was exquisite. Both comedians are delightful and their comedic styles compliment each other well. 10/10 would recommend and would see again!!

Best standup I've ever seen live!

by MKDoodle on 5/24/17Cedar Cultural Center - Minneapolis

I've been a fan of Russell Howard for about six years now and it started while watching Mock the Week. After that I found his special 'Right Here, Right Now' and I was hooked. I really like his kind of comedy. He's not overly cynical, he interacts with his audience and his message about having fun and laughing to make the world a brighter place is a nice change. My face and stomach genuinely hurt after the show because I laughed so much, and I think we could all use more of that. I hope he comes back to the Midwest again in the future and I look forward to seeing more of his comedy.

    Great night out!

by Anonymous on 5/22/17Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

We lived in the U.K. and watched The Russell Howard Show all the time. He is so funny, bright, and quick. He reminds me of Robyn Williams.

    Cried laughing

by AggyMeg on 5/10/17Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Russel Howard was absolutely amazing. Hilarious! He connected with the audience and had us instantly. He deserved better than this dingy venue though. He easily would have sold out a bigger venue.
