Great, skip the vip experience
by ARD on 10/30/25Vibrant Music Hall - WaukeeRating: 4 out of 5The “VIP listening experience” was a joke, but the concert itself was awesome. My friends and I got the VIP listening experience. We had to be there at 4:30 when the show started at 8 PM. When we checked in, we got a plushy/pillow of Russell that we had to hold for the duration of the evening. They let us in for the “listening“ experience, which was about a three minute video on his Writing process for his album that I’m sure will be on YouTube if it’s not already. He then came out and talked to the crowd for about three minutes and left. I’m not sure what I expected but with it being a listening experience, I thought, I don’t know, maybe play a few songs? Or at least divulge what is entailed in the VIP experience more clearly. I’m not sure what we were “listening” to. We then had to go back out to the lobby for another hour and then we were let back in to the venue about an hour later. We then had to stand there for two hours waiting for the show to begin. Once the show started, it was awesome! Vavo was great! Russell put on a great show and you can tell he really loves what he does and is very grateful and thankful for his success and his fans. The show was 10/10. We had a great spot to stand given the early access, which was a bonus of the VIP. But my feet were killing me after standing for about seven hours with the VIP experience beforehand which lasted maybe 10 minutes. I would definitely skip the VIP experience next time and show up at six. Also, what exactly were we supposed to do with a plushy for the duration of a concert? Maybe have a line for people to pick up their VIP gift after the show…? That way we don’t have to hold it for six hours… Just a thought.
