Russ in Concert
A singular rap force in the mold of Eminem, Russ leaves an indelible mark every time he steps on stage. The jack of all trades does it all: writing, producing, engineering, and mixing all of his own music. So when the spotlight is on, Russ' output is a definitive reflection of his scope as an artist. It takes a commanding presence to captivate arena audiences all by yourself, and Russ does it over bombastic bangers like the aptly titled "Do It Myself," and sensual, slowed-down crooners like "Losin' Control." He's taken his live set to Coachella and now to the North American I See You tour, all the while reflecting on how the world spins around him and his fast-track rise to hip-hop stardom.

Born in New Jersey, but growing up in Atlanta, 25-year-old Russ Vitale (Russ) started writing raps in a notebook at the tender age of seven. He found his teenage calling as a producer and stuck to it—until finally laying down his first bars on the mic when he was 18. Once he did, he couldn't stop. A tireless creator, Russ put out 11 albums in a three-year period from 2011 to 2014 and put them all up on SoundCloud for prompt mass consumption. While releasing everything through his Diemon Crew collective/label at the onset, he signed with Columbia Records in 2017 and quickly put out his major-label debut, ‘There's Really a Wolf.' Peaking at #7 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on both the U.S. rap and R&B charts, the debut soon went platinum. Staying true to form, his sophomore effort, ‘Zoo,' came out in 2018, peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200, and even featured Snoop Dogg & Rick Ross on the track "Last Forever." Russ has established himself as an outspoken personality on Twitter and palpable force in hip-hop.
The concert was amazing. He is so talented and preformed a great set. He was interactive and witty and the music was phenomenal. The only downside was that the floor was so crowded. I wasn't expecting anything different, but it was a mash pit for sure. I didn't have two inches of space to myself. However, the balcony seating was very spacious and seemed a lot more laid back. Truly an amazing experience.
Have been to three concerts of his in Texas so far and will travel anywhere to see him! He is killing so many artists rn it ridiculous! Watch out Russ comin thru now
I originally went to the concert for my son, who is a fan. Well, I became a fan after that show! Russ is good looking, amazing singer, can rap, and even talks in between his songs, which I love, and he's got a sense of humor! Hands down, one of the best shows I've been to. If he comes back to Corpus Christi, TX, I will definitely be there!
the way he connects with his fans is awesome! like he said "i am no better than anyone in this room" he's just amazing!
I took my 2 older boys to see Russ & I will admit I had no real idea who he was but by the end of the show he had made a fan!! His presence is magnetic & his smile is contagious, not to mention he is truly talented! We had an awesome time & hope to see him again someday :)
The venue was clean, spacious, and the staff were all very helpful. Fast service at the bar and I enjoyed the monitors of the stage in the bar area. All of that is great but Russ is one incredible performer. He put on one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I had so much fun and it was an unforgettable night.
Phenomenal performer! Sang through his whole set without a break for two hours. Very passionate about music and really had the crowd pumped. Would definitely love to see him again!

Nah Russ the tsunami! So many vibes and Russ was amazing in his performance. Got the crowd into it by involving us in some acapellas even did an encore and shared some life stories. Don't sleep on Russ

The concert venue was amazing. We had a great view from the second level. Others preferred to be in front of the stage on ground floor which also had a great view. The music was awesome and he sounds exactly like on his videos. Loved his interaction with the crowd. We had a great time and will in the near future be a part of another Russ concert.
Best concert I've ever been to. He kept it hype the entire time and at no point was I bored even though I didn't know every song. Great performance and interactive with the audience .
We have waited Russ for more than an hour with a "DJ" just mixing rap music. We could barely see that man because the scene was so low and the crowd compacted next to the scene. Then Russ arrived and I could not even see his face. I tried to sit on a counter but was told off whereas people were smoking marijuana in the concert hall... The sound in the Underground was very bad. We left after 3 of his songs.
Went to the concert in Greensboro, probably the biggest waste of money ever. Showed up over an hour late and claimed to be "sold out" on Instagram the next day.Honestly thought it'd be a no show, and by the time he got there the hype died out, so my group left.
Great concert. Russ have a energetic performance. All his hits back to back. No stalling, no openers, just Russ. Concert didn't start too late after set time which was perfect!
The show was 10/10. A++. Perfect. Russ was so energetic & amazing. I'd go again if I could!!
Many rappers come on the stage too under the influence and without energy, and only end up performing about half of each song while the prerecorded songs play over the speakers, but Russ was insanely engaged and high energy. So much fun.
