About

RUSH took rock music into uncharted territory and to unmatched heights fueled by the once-in-a-lifetime interplay of Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics). Selling over 45 million albums worldwide, garnering seven Grammy Award nominations, tallying billions of streams, and earning induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the pioneering trio’s incalculable influence has spanned generations, attracting one of the most ardent audiences in history. These musicians effectively reimagined and redefined rock without boundaries, striking a balance between elite instrumentation, anthemic vocals, provocative lyricism, and timeless storytelling both sonically and thematically. RUSH notably achieved “the third most consecutive gold/platinum studio albums by a rock band behind only the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.” Furthermore, their accolades have included becoming Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, achieving the Canadian Governor General’s Performing Arts Award in 2012, and receiving recognition with both a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Peart on January 7, 2020 following his battle with brain cancer. Honoring Peart and the legacy the band had forged together, Lee and Lifeson celebrate RUSH on tour in 2026. It’s a moment for new listeners to finally experience this music live in all of its glory and another chance for the group’s faithful fanbase to rally again.

  • Wish I were blind...

RUSH sounded better than ever, however, modern technology has made their demographic douchier than I ever thought possible. As a woman that loves the band and travels to different cities to see them, it is irritating to try and watch the show and see nothing but 50 cell phones taking video and pictures. I hope this is their last tour as they deserve much better than this, if not, I hope they ban cell phones, record every concert and begin selling coverage of every show. RUSH FOREVER!!!!

  • RUSH ROCKED CHICAGO!!!

    by Brian27 on 6/17/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Rush was totally awesome for three hour tour! Listening to Xanadu and Jacob's Ladder for the first time live was absolutely awesome! This was my 11th time seeing them and they've only gotten better every single time! Even the out take video in between sets was absolutely awesome and funny! Personally I think it was a great celebration to the Blackhawks just before they won the cup! Even seeing one of the stage hands run across the stage in a Blackhawks Jersey was a great tribute and funny at the same time!

  • Rush R 40 was truly a rush!

    by John281964 on 6/16/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Have been a fan since the mid/late 70s. Have seen many concerts in my day, but this show was the stellar one I've been waiting for. I was amazed! Bravo RUSH!

  • United Center R40 show 6/12/15 in Chicago

    by 2fires on 6/16/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Rush has been my fav since I first saw them perform on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert (Am I showing my age a bit??) Been a loyal fan ever since. I've seen them many, many times live and they never disappoint. This was the show I was NOT going to miss. I thought it was extremely clever how the show was structured. The music, as most of you already know, started from the latest album and worked backward in chronological order. Not only the music, but the stage backline as well along with the stage lighting. Include the instruments also. What a treat it was to see the double-necks, Alex's white 335, and the guitar he was playing on Working Man was the guitar he played on DK's Rock Concert I mentioned earlier. How hilarious it was at the end when their amps were sitting on the chairs with the mirror ball hanging over them. Takes me back to my early early musician days. I'd have to say my fav songs of the evening were "Jacob's Ladder", "Hemispheres", and "Cygnus X-1". If you haven't seen this show or Rush at all for that matter, get your a** there. This could be your last opportunity.

Band can still play! Geddy''s vocals are fine. Intermissions were fine. Great set list and great show.

  • Rush rocks Cbus!!!

    by phoenix3172 on 6/16/15Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Rush continue to amaze. Given that this might be their last big tour, they definitely pulled out all the stops. Basically did a reverse history of their catalog and stage design over the course of the show; started with their most recent hits and worked their way back. It was something to see. Their movie skits were also hilarious with dozens of outtakes.

  • Rush was awesome! Hate United center.

    by Koco21 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Rush as always rocked! Great music; awesome set list. However, very disappointed in our seats. Spent $375 on two floor tickets and couldn't see anything.

  • GREAT STUFF!!!

    by sifodyas1 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

It's Rush. It was awesome! These guys are and have always been ROCK GODS!!!

  • Awesome!!

    by Lexi1264 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

They were incredible, everything I expected and more, honestly. Played and excellent mix of old and new material, only wished they would have done Limelight or Fly By Night! Highly recommend this tour.

  • Rush was righteous

My family had an amazing time that we will never forget!

  • Godlike

    by Dog85 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

The most beautiful sight mine eyes have seen. Dream it, Live it.

  • Rush, always good but not the best I've seen them

    by Kit1328 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

They played a lot of obscure stuff... No trees, no limelight, no fly by night, no resist. They skipped a lot of my favorites which was disappointing.

  • Rush was awesome as usual!!

    by Guitarman59 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

So I admit I have been a big Rush fan since 1975! So and Rush concert is a great Rush concert. But as this is their last tour of this magnitude it was a must attend. The power trio on their own smashing from Clockwork Angels backward through their greatest of the great! Don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I will just say the encore was Awesome!

  • by Anonymous on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

BEST SHOW EVER. I have been a fan of the group since the 1970s and they are just as great today as they were back then.

  • RUSH STILL THE BEST!!!!

by Anonymous on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert, they still are the best band around 40YRS and still can rock it.

  • They still got it!

    by Bigguy2112 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show start to finish... Must see if you liked rush back in the day or just turned on the the greatest band in history!

  • Rush Show

    by Marty15 on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great trip down memory lane. Clever set arrangement starting with the newest material, taking it all the way back to a high school gym set up. Era dictated number and style of amplifiers used on the back line. Totally cool how they staged those amplifiers... Two drum kits used, great sound and awesome lights. Easy in and out of the venue. I would recommend the show and the United Center to everyone. Class act from all involved!! "And the meek shall inherit the earth"

  • Rush at United Center(Chicago)

by Anonymous on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I'm told that Rush has put new music out since high school and that's what they started the show with. While the hard core fans knew those as well it was 6-7 songs in before I started recognizing things. Awesome from there on out but Geddy's pipes just aren't what they used to be.

  • Rush R40

by thespeedbuggy on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show for us old guys. They played lots of the old stuff as they went back in time.

  • Great show

by MattStowell on 6/15/15United Center - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

As they always have, Rush put on a great show! They started with new material and worked their way backwards in the music catalogue.
