RuPaul's Drag Race on Tour
Even beamed into people's living rooms through their TVs, RuPaul's Drag Race is one of the biggest and most fabulous shows on Earth — it was only a matter of time before its cavalcade of queens ended up in Las Vegas. Specifically, they took up residence at the Flamingo, in a room that for more than a decade hosted the Donny & Marie variety show. A far more colorful and extremely ambitious production, RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! involves big dance numbers, wild wardrobe changes, all-star catwalk crawls, vicious lip-sync battles and, well, a "bitch-slap" competition that calls for audience involvement. The mission is to make fans feel like they're in the middle of an interactive episode taping — a rotating cast of beloved queens previously seen on the show partakes in a series of challenges, performances and face-offs. The crowd determines a winner via the Clap-O-Meter, an outsize applause measurement device made to look like big lips and a giant tongue. The choreography comes from longtime Ru pal Jamal Sims (Step Up, the Oscars, live-action Aladdin) and is set to tunes previously heard on the series (think Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears) as well as new original music from RuPaul, producer Leland and Tom Campbell. Meanwhile, the vibrant and often delightfully absurd sets transport viewers to a veritable wonderland of neon sass.
RuPaul's Drag Race in Concert
RuPaul's Drag Race debuted on Logo TV in 2009 and became an instant hit. It didn't hurt that the show's host, mentor and head judge was already the most famous and beloved drag queen the world had ever known, but the series quickly demonstrated its power to captivate audiences of all backgrounds and launch incredibly colorful new stars. By the time it kicked off its 12th season in 2020, the reality competition series had been nominated for 23 Emmys and won nine, not to mention increased awareness and (rabid) appreciation of drag culture, as well as gifted unto the world such truly inspired queens as Trixie Mattel, Bianca Del Rio and Alaska Thunderf*ck 5000. In 2017, RuPaul's Drag Race leapt to VH1 and also off of the screen via the Werq the World tour. That larger-than-life spectacle proved to be a hit, running for years and also paving the way for RuPaul's Drag Race LIVE! in Las Vegas, starring show alumni Yvie Oddly, Aquaria, Asia O'Hara, Derrick Barry, the Pit Crew and many more.

Excelente show! Altísima calidad! Súper recomendable!
Went to a Friday night showing of RuPaul Drag Race LIVE! It was an amazing, thrilling, hilarious, and fun show. The 4 queens involved were great and very different. I loved how the overall organization of the show was similar to the show. What i wasn't expecting was just how much we would see the Pit Crew. That was AWESOME! They were involved in the stories and drama of the show, and they danced A LOT. Such a fun experience. We will be returning to see the show again next time we're in Vegas.
I didn’t know what to expect never seen it before knew nothing of it but the wife loved the TV shows and knew everything about it so I was sceptical but to be honest it was quite fun to see the drag queens in those unbelievable costumes Glad they weren’t all American my vote went to Laurence from the UK 🇬🇧 Never heard the wife cheer and clap so much Great show ….. go and see it.
Show was fabulous ! Performers were amazing, loved the costumes, we had a great time!
This was a cute show. It’s fun to be able to see the queens from the series perform live.
As a fan of the tv show, I was so excited about seeing the live show. The stop/start flow, advertisements during and overall duration of less than 1.5 hrs made this feel like it never actually got started and was over in a heartbeat. The performances were half ok, and some of the queen's seemed uninterested which further dampened the experience. Finally, the lip sync battle went absolutely nowhere which sealed the deal making this a really poor experience. I would have rather spent my money on another show that actually invested the necessary time and money on a memorable experience for its audience.
The performance was good. However, none of the queens listed online for tickets (Aquaria, Jaida Essence Hall, Jorgeous, Eureka) performed. We were told when we got there they perform for “special appearances.” This was dissappointing. Derek Barry and Diya Betty were there though which made it better.
Ru Paul's Drag Race was so enjoyable! Whether you have seen the show or not, you will enjoy the talent, the humor, the whole production!
A fast paced fun and very funny evening. Great lip synching and faaaabulous costumes. The performances were all first class drag! Definitely recommend for a good time.
This show was amazing! My friend and I thought it was wonderful. It was very heartwarming as well. I will be back to see more shows. Thank you!!
As a huge Drag Race fan, the show did not disappoint ! High energy and the lack of intermission keeps you super engaged. The queens were all fantastic ! The Lawrence Chaney performance made me quite emotional. I suggest drinking ahead of time as the alcohol is quite pricey, and I wish there was a way to know who was performing ahead of time.
Fabulous show and amazing queens - special shout out to Asia O’Hara for being an incredible host (and pointing me out in my hot pink suit!) 💖
Really good show. Entertaining and funny. A truly enjoyable experience.
Such a great show! All the queens were great, super fun experience and exactly what you’d expect. Super high quality production good format and length. Pit crew was A+++ Just a couple notes about logistics/theatre only - Get there early to get through the line, go to the bar yourself for drink table service takes too long, eat before you go (they had popcorn and 1 bag of m+ms) no souvenir cups available :(
Great show! Wonderful entertainment, talented queens, lots of laughs!! Can’t wait to go again
The production was incredible, the queen’s performances were absolutely amazing. I was completely impressed on how smoothly they transitioned between each set. I definitely recommend the show!
We had a great time at RuPaul's Drag Show!! It was great for fans of the TV show and for people who had never seen it. The production quality was high and it was great to get to see performers I'd watched on the TV show. There aren't really any bad seats in the house, but if you have a group of more 'substantial' individuals then I would suggest a booth instead of a table (6 people around a medium sized table is a lot). I would highly recommend this show and I would go again!
For such a small venue, the production quality was spectacular and the cast were entertaining and funny. A must see for any drag race fans!
I’ll say of the 4 queens that performed, half of them cared and the other half didn’t. Asia O’Hara (host): So funny!! Loved the looks. Yara Sofia: completely missed her intro and came out at the wrong time/late. Didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. Her number wasn’t that good. Derrick Barry: Meh. She rushed every bit when she was on. Was more concerned about Yara not being there and did bare minimum in my opinion. Jorgeous: Killed it. Absolutely phenomenal. Jada Essence Hall: Stunning. Flawless. Loved her. Overall, it was okay. We went to a double show night, ours was the 7 PM. Don't know if I would recommend or go back again.
