Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic were both working in Bondi before getting together one day in 2019 with their guitars and song sketches. Without any expectations, they soon spotted it: an unspoken chemistry that resulted in effortless rock wonders, tunes that somehow seemed as if they’d always existed, releasing a string of EPs. In 2024, they released the soaring debut album, PRATTS & PAIN, which kicked off a legendary run; preceded by the pair’s Triple J “Like A Version” recording, taking on Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on The Dancefloor.” The performance became a zeitgeist shaping hit, hitting No. 1 on Alternative U.S. Radio, No. 2 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay and Triple J’s Hottest 100 charts. Their Sirius XM Session cover of the Cranberries’ “Linger” led the band to their first Billboard Hot 100 hit and has over 220 million global streams. They went on to play more than 100 sold out shows the rest of 2024, selling over 100,000 tickets across Australia, U.K, Europe and U.S. They then returned home to Australia as one of the most nominated artists at the 2024 ARIA Awards, winning four awards including “Best Rock Album” and “Best Group.” Since their culmination, Royel Otis have drawn from an endless source of good hooks and spirit — riding on their musical chemistry that exudes into mixes of melody and bittersweet humor — cementing their status as one of the most effortless and endearing rock bands to emerge this decade.

Really loved the show. Amazing set, the band was super sweet and engaging with the audience and the over all vibes of the entire event was only positive and fun from all around. Would 1000% go see them live again anytime.
Literally insane from the time it started to the moment it ended. They sound even better live.
I mean I already loved them but they’re really great live they put on a great show. Great choice of songs for keeping the crowd up. Light display and all looked really great but one request please consider how it affects the audience. Sometimes the lights are so blinding you cant even see them. Love you Royel Otis!!!
First of all fun show - set list was awesome. Otis has a great voice live. Would definitely see them again.
I would go again tomorrow! Royel Otis is my favorite group of all time!!! Seeing them live made me love them even more❤️
Good staff. Good band. Great accommodations. Look forward to another show here.
Wonderful show and stage/lights were great. It really meant a lot
Incredible performance. Opening band was amazing too.
This band is a rocket ship right now. Especially while they’re touring these smaller, intimate settings, they’re a no doubter if they come to your city or close to it. Best part was the fact the did the classic walk off stage before doing 2 more songs to end and didn’t mess around. Hopped off stage for just about the amount of time it takes to do a cheeky key and they got right back to it. Obviously the Linger cover was the finale and it was truly a cherry on top of a well done performance. 10/10
