The seats were great and Game was Fantastic !!! The ticket exchange was good!
This was my first Rose Bowl game and it did not disappoint, especially since my team won. I had seats in the second to last row but the field was still easy to see - I don’t think there’s a bad seat unless the view is obstructed. I highly recommend going at least once.
I have been to three Rose Bowl games and 2 parades. Each time I am amazed how much the pageantry, excitement and setting take me back to a time College Football was special. It never gets old. The Rose Bowl never disappoints. Not a bad seat in the house.
Been to 7 Rose Bowl games with Michigan, starting in 1978, never had nothing but great times, but it does get a little cool after halftime, Go Blue
Long lines. Food prices high. Over priced merchandise. It was raining.
I am a Penn State alum and have been to several Bowl Games. This was the most enjoyable! The Utah fans made it enjoyable!! They showed up!! I was having difficulty going up the steps as there was no handrail. A Utah fan was coming down the steps with his friends. He stopped, offered his hand, turned around and walked me all the way up to my seat!! The Utah fans sitting next to us congratulated us on our win. Penn State put it all on the field, but hats off to the wonderful Utah fans for their kindness and great sportsmanship!! We are…Penn State!!🐾
The TV screens are way to small. You cant even see the game. The seating is too tight. I was on the end of a aisle and was basically falling off the edge. The seating does not fit adults well. You can barely see what is happening in the game unless it is right in front of you because the screens are so tiny. They need to be updated. It is hard to stay engaged when you cant even see the game. The bathrooms for the tailgate were disgusting. So far away and so dirty!! These need to to updated for the amount of fans that are present.
The Rose Bowl Stadium is historic and had plenty of pre/post game activities and food options. On the other hand, it is shocking that the self proclaimed "Grandaddy of them All" bowl games still has not learned how to manage pre and post game traffic. For example, they offer free shuttle buses from downtown Pasadena to the Stadium. d with However, after the game, it took close to two hours to board the a bus and get dropped off in Pasadena. The lines were not properly managed with people pushing and shoving while many cut the lines. This right in front of the hired private Security stood around and did nothing. Before going to a Rose Bowl, be prepared to spend as much time getting in and out of the Stadium as the game... I
Even though my team lost, it was a great experience. This was my second Rose Bowl game
Had a great time with my family. Best Rose Bow ever! Penn State won.
End Zone seats were great! We could see all the action of the football game. Penn State winning was te icing on the cake!
I will say that I have always dreamed of going to the Rose Bowl. I lived in Pasadena for a bit and would run by the stadium in the spring and summer. As a Penn State alumni, I had to go. The stadium is everything I dreamed it would be. It is intimate with not a bad seat in the house. There are ample food and beverage spots so it was easy to get food and drink when I needed it. The game was great (especially given the outcome) and I found the shuttle process (parked in old town Pasadena and took the free bus) to be painless. Overall, I had a great experience, as all the staff I encountered were professional and kind, and would go back.
This was THE BEST e-ticket experience ever. I had no issue transferring 2 tickets to other members of our group….was nervous about it but it was GREAT. 100% recommended the Ticketmaster app and Seat Geek for tickets. We traveled from Pennsylvania to Pasadena, CA for this event and had a fantastic time.
The stadium has no hand rails so climbing to your seats is very difficult. Steps are overly steep and difficult to climb. Concessions are speedy and service was friendly.
The outcome wasn’t what I wanted but it was fun to be there. The stadium is supposedly an icon but the actual facility it’s an antiquated disgusting dump underneath all the hype. As a major venue for the college bowl series it is extremely disappointing to see it in person. The only thing that I can honestly say was nice was the large scoreboard and the Rose Bowl sign on the outside of the stadium. The seating is very crowded. The restrooms are small and filthy. Before the game even started there was no soap or toilet paper. There were broken toilets spraying water everywhere and standing water on the floors. The concessions were interesting, but not necessarily in a good way. There were a few tents but the majority was individuals with utility carts fitted with some type of warmer and a larger cookie sheet type pan. It didn’t look sanitary. Also multiple people selling beer out of ice chests. These types of vendors are usually what you would expect outside of a venue not as approved licensed vendors inside.
I waited half an hour to pee. Then had to wait in two different lines for a pretzel, total time was a hour.
the lack of temporary porta potty bathroom facilities was shocking and stressful ! EVERYBODY and EVERYONE was/were complaining loudly about the LOOOOOOONG lines to the bathrooms . I was at the rose bowl last year too , the porta potties were available and relieved a lot of THE PRESSURE !
The event was terrible, we had a bunch of students gathering in front of our seat, getting drunk and blocking our view. This event cost me $500 including parking, and my wife never got to see any of it eventually be at security come up and remove the people, but the game is mostly over by then. I could’ve purchased general mission parking for $60 at the event instead of paying 90 for it through an app.
Was a surprise birthday present as I’m a New Years baby . Came for Rose Bowl parade but with Penn State in game my guy decided was a no brainer . Everything about the entire experience was awesome . Walked from parade to game and even though free shuttles , we walked back . Metro L line was easy from Arcadia and no charge for parade / game day . Shuttles free also , but walking with hundreds of people was fun . Planning on doing again !
