Such a great show! I've watched Ronny's previous specials multiple times, so I know his existing material pretty well. This was all new stuff and absolutely brilliant and hilarious! And then he made me tear up a little in the end when he talked about his dad. So sweet and heartfelt - I loved it!!!
Refreshing and insightful jokes. Ronny never disappoints! Johnny O Yang was a welcome added bonus! Thanks for a memorable night out!
Ronny has a way of self-deprecation and also bringing to light sensitive topics in a humorous way that acknowledges and respects multiple prevailing viewpoints. His show was fun and heart-warming.
The venue was great for the event. Easy parking and access with no trouble or traffic delays getting in and out of the venue and parking. Mr. Ronny Cheng was hilarious from beginning to end, I mean I laughed so hard I had tears all throughout the show. His show is is highly recommended. I do recommend that the San Diego Civic theatre clean up and clear out the stairwells in the Theatre parking structure! IYKYK! Great show!
My seats were in the nosebleed with a rail directly in my view. Selling seats like those is bad business. I won't do it again. So while Ronnie was great, the venue left a lot to be desired. I won't make that mistake again.
if he’s going to be in your area - just go see him. he is selling out venues for a reason. we laughed A LOT. exactly what we all need nowadays
Ronny was ridiculously funny. Great set and was such a great storyteller/comedian. His opening act was so funny as well! Def go see him!
Ronny Chieng was so funny and inclusive. I could relate to everything he said and left the show thinking it was even better than Trevor Noah's recent tour. I highly recommend it.
Ronny Chieng was absolutely hilarious!!! I was laughing, smiling, and crying all at the same time, non-stop. I would recommend seeing him again if he decides to come back to Seattle.
I enjoyed Ronny’s opening act and loved Ronny. No sugar coating in his sh**! Relatable in so many level! Can’t wait for him to come back to Seattle!
Ronny Chieng is among an elite group of stand up comics who can combine truly intelligent humor with physical comedy on stage. The show left me thoroughly satisfied with 90 minutes of laughs. I went home and texted my friends to encourage them to see the show when he is in Honolulu in July!
I love Ronny. The last part of the story about his dad was too emotional than funny to me. Just personal point of view.
Julie Kim was great! Ronny’s performance included fresh material. Microphone quality could improve, esp. when performer speaks so close to the microphone for comedic affect.
Ronnie Chieng is as funny on "The Daily Show"as he was on his recent live performance in Seattle. New material, very relatable, funny and delivery was on point.
Great show and venue. Ronny Chieng was hilarious as always.
The show was awesome Robbie was super funny I highly recommend going to his show if you get the chance.
So this was my first time seeing an act at this venue and o was seated in the lower balcony. I felt it was a bit hard to see Ronny. It would have been nice if there was some type of screen or something to him better (I went to cache creek to see Nick Offermen and they did this). Otherwise the view was very nice and clean and audio quality was good. There was a young lady that opened up for Ronny. I can’t remember her name but I thought she was funny and I enjoyed her material. She was a bit monotone/mild mannered when doing her act so there was not a lot of excitement but regardless she got the room to laugh. Ronny was very funny and got the room going. He even did a bit at the end for his up coming netflix special and finally talked about his dad. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Ronny has an introspective worldview perspective and can touch all subjects directly but with a comedic spin that isn't hurtful or mean-spirited; he's just funny. Highly recommend.
If you like/love Ronny, you will not be disappointed, one of his best sets. If you do not like/love Ronny, see a doctor.
