  • Ronny Chieng is a comedy genius

by South Stockton guy on 10/21/24Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I had an amazing time seeing Ronny Chieng in Stockton. Ronny is a comedy genius and his show was one of the best stand-up performances I've ever seen. It's hard to understand how his show did not sell out especially with a huge influx of folks from the Bay moving into San Joaquin County. Maybe there needs to be more effective marketing for our area or maybe it's the timing of the show in the middle of the week because we have a lot of Bay Area commuters who wake up early. Sadly, those folks missed out on one of the best comedy minds of our time.

  • great show!

I was surprised that there was a local who opened for Ronny. She was very funny. Ronny's set was great! He had some merch available for purchase also. I really enjoyed my seat at this venue, it wasn't sold out and the row in front of me was empty so i had a clear sight of the stage.

  • Relatable

    by OldMom81 on 10/20/24Bob Hope Theatre - StocktonRating: 5 out of 5

His set was great. Very relatable for the most part. I laughed the whole time, even at the end of the set after pulling at my heartstrings.

  • So worth it!!

    by Oleary78 on 10/14/24The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

None stop comedy! The show was more than I had hoped for. His opening act Chris Chen, I'm sure I've misspelled that, was on fire! From the min it's starts to the last joke you will be laughing!

My favorite stand up comedian. Always a fun show. Laughter is guaranteed and topics are always relevant to current happenings. Would love to see him again.

  • Asian Heaven

by musiclover on 10/14/24The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

He def caters to the Asian population. If you are not Asian, maybe not as fun? If you are Asian, you will love his show.

  • Ronny Chieng is THE BEST

by belindachicago on 10/14/24The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Loved his DJ, his opening act, Jason, and of course, Ronny's set. EVERY joke hit AND a custom local ice cream creation to benefit charity? BRILLIANT. The only hiccup was how slow security was to deal with the rude guests in the front rue. Please protect the talent better!

  • Ronny was fun!

by Pun on 10/14/24The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Ronny was fun! He was dressed casual which was interesting because he’s normally suited up. I want to show appreciation to the Chicago Theatre staff. I have a broken foot, and they helped me in so gracefully and safely. Thank you so much!

  • I am looking forward to attending the next show!

by DD on 9/18/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the show! The comedian was hilarious! But I was a bit annoyed that the show started late because some people were still outside getting drinks. I think they should close the doors when the show is supposed to start, ya know, Taft?

At first, I was a little bummed that he rescheduled for 9 months later, but in the end it was definitely worth it! This was the best comedy show I've seen in a very long time! He is great!

My daughter went with me to this show - she finds that Ronny can be hit or miss. This one was a hit. Very fun, and his opening act was one of the better ones. Enjoyed the DJ as well. Would highly recommend if you enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians and Megan.

by Caro on 9/16/24Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

There was a change of venue so didn't have the seats I had wanted but ended up with the seats I needed! The opening act was a local guy who was absolutely hilarious and now I need to go see him when has a show somewhere. But then out came Ronny and he was simply and totally just magnificent. I would very much like to see him again. And he won an Emmy 2 days later!!
