    Reliable performance

by Brillare on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

Ronnie still puts on a consistently good show. Lots of hits and fun to walk down memory lane. Could have done without the on stage chatter. Couldn't understand most of it and felt as if we were missing out on their inside jokes. Lots of lags in the performance as a result. Tempo of the music seemed slugish too. Probably not the best venue to see anyone!

    Ronnie Milsap Still Rocks

by BGudgell on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

We have been long time fans of Ronnie Milsap and last night's show did not disappoint. His voice still is firm and strong and he can still play the piano like no other. All our favorites were performed and the final encore was a tribute to our soldiers and our country. He thanked our military personnel then sang a very moving rendition of America. I know it brought tears to my eyes. Ronnie Milsap is a generous performer thanking his band and support staff numerous times as well as giving thanks to his fans and the radio stations for still playing his classic music. Our only regret was that he only played 1 1/2 hours - we could have listened a lot longer.

    Ronnie Milsap Was Outstanding

    by ZKat2 on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

Ronnie and his band came out on time and did just about ALL of Ronnie's 40 number 1 hits from over the years. Ronnie sounded every bit as good as when I first saw him 25 years ago. Ronnie still has that smooth voice that help make his songs sound so wonderful. The band behind him was very tight and extremely entertaining. I knew every single song they played from Ronnie's extensive string of hits that earned Mr.Milsap no less than 6 Grammy Awards. If you love this music, and I don't know how you couldn't, this was a fantastic show. Ronnie Milsap songs are so well crafted that they'll be played for 100 years to come. Don't miss a chance to see Ronnie. Ronnie was even kind enough to go to his merchandise table after the show to autograph items and meet his fans. God Bless Ronnie Milsap.

    Ronnie Milsap

    by einstein1 on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

My husband and I have lived in Texas for 5 years now. Last night when we went to see Ronnie Milsap was our first trip to Billy Bob's. I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. I really enjoyed the fact that it was a small atmosphere which was more personal. Billy Bob's was massive and very impressive. Can't wait to go back.

    Milsap still going strong

by Harleyguy on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

Thought song selection was excellent although would like to have heard even more hits. Concert was 1.5 hrs and needs to be 2 hrs to do him justice with all the hits. Also an encore performance would have been a better ending. It ended after America the Beautiful (nice touch), but without an encore you always feel a little let down. All said, he has a great voice and very worth seeing live. Keep up the great work Ronnie and take my suggestions as simply a way to put some extra edge on the overall performance. You still got the great voice & will always be an admirer.

    May be older, still good

    by MizRacin848 on 8/9/09Billy Bob's - Fort Worth

It was an older crowd (myself included) that was seated in the reserved seating at Billy Bob's last night. My only complaint about the evening was that it had been so long since the last concert I attended at Billy Bob's, I'd forgotten how close the tables/chairs are to one another in the reserved seating section. Ronnie came on stage & put on a great show. He may be a bit older than when I began to love listening to him in the '70's, but he's still got a great voice. The four part harmony of Ronnie & the band members' "do-wap" songs a capella was very, very good.

    not enough music

by youneverknow on 7/17/09Kodak Theatre On the Ridge - Rochester

The music that he played was good, but there was too much talking/story-telling and not enough playing and singing. Kept telling ourselves as we left that 'it was for a very good cause.'

    A Charming Performer

by JudyBlueEyes on 7/17/09Kodak Theatre On the Ridge - Rochester

Ronnie Milsap provided the audience with an evening full of warmth, wit and sincerity. We learned about his life and career, and how he came to be connected with our hometown charity, Camp Good Days and Special Times. A talented, versatile performer!

    Ronnie Milsap

by francina on 7/16/09Kodak Theatre On the Ridge - Rochester

I was very disappointed that Ronnie Milsap talked more than he sang. I did find his speech motivating, but I came to hear him sing. I am glad the event was to make money for Camp Good Days so I wasn't totally disappointed that I spent $55 for 30 minutes of singing and more than 45 minutes of speaking.

    Milsap was lame

by greg3113 on 7/13/09Little Nashville Opry - Nashville

This concert was lame. For starters it was just barely over an hour long. He narrowed down all of his greatest hits to a 5 minute mix-mash song. He spent over half of the show singing songs that weren't even his songs. Him and the band spent a lot of time going over a poorly rehearsed script that was not funny or entertaining. Over all it was a poor performance. Ronnie Milsap is getting older, and these tickets were cheap, but I would not waste another night for that.

    Little Nashville

by buffalobills on 7/12/09Little Nashville Opry - Nashville

Very very low turnout for the 9pm show. I thought it would have been a full house. It was only 1/3 full.

    Great show

by aug56 on 7/12/09Little Nashville Opry - Nashville

The show was fabulous at Little Nashville, I am not a full blooded country fan but this was the second time I have seen him and it was great. The sound in the venue is fantastic and also the meet and greet after was something you never will see at a big venue.
