Roger Hodgson, formerly of Supertramp, has been recognized as one of the most gifted songwriters and lyricists of our time. As the legendary composer of many of the band’s greatest hits, he gave us “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast in America,” “It’s Raining Again,” “School,” “Fool’s Overture” and so many others that have become the soundtrack of our lives and helped his former band sell well over 60 million albums.
Hodgson continues to tour extensively worldwide performing not only his classics, but also material from his solo albums.

Loved Supertramp back in the day and it was great to hear all the classics live. Roger's voice is still the same.......great band and orchestra !
As Roger said at the beginning of the concert, it would be a time to relax and forget about your troubles. He was right (bloody well right). With the assistance of the orchestra he was able to bring the sounds of each Supertramp song as if recorded at the studio, and many were enhanced. It was a fine display of musicianship, and less rock and roll show. One could easily be immersed in the songs and sounds. He was able to bring a sense of intimacy, even thought the stage was packed with over 20 musicians. I look forward to his next visit.
Roger Hodgson is an amazing musician! His music is still so relevant... Fantastic back-up band and an orchestra!!! It was truly outstanding! He relates and engages his audience... He mentioned that it was his 16th year playing at Casino Rama - I hope that there is a 17th - because I'll be there!!
Have made it an annual event to go to Casino Rama and listen to Roger Hodgson and his orchestra. He Is a classy performer who is very appreciative of his audience and always gives a great show .
Voice is still there. Humor is good. Orchestra was great
It was great to see Roger but he started very late, played only about ten songs and the volume of his band was too low. His vocals were very hard to make out and the sub-woofer bass was too loud. That drowned out a lot of the rest of the music. Great, otherwise.
Fantastic show! Venue is the best, and Roger Hodgson was amazing! He still "has it!" So glad I was able to see him perform!
Growing up Supertramp was one of many favorite groups, he was fun, entertaining and every bit as talented as I knew he would be. A crowd pleaser with timeless tunes, foot tapping music and wonderful lyric's to remember. If you haven't seen him you're missing out!!
We saw Roger and his band twice on the recent swing through PA and NJ and in many ways I think the shows were better than ever. (14 times in total). Roger continues to amaze me in the way he is able to sing and establish such a strong rapport with his audience. The 2 hours were filled with music, celebration, and love. The band was great too and the 2 new members, Michael Ghegan and Ray Coburn, were very good and new arrangements to some of the songs provided a new edge to them. Go see them if you have the opportunity. The night will be great and the memories will last a lifetime.
Roger Hodgson is an amazing, amazing performer! Of course, his music is iconic, but I appreciated that he took a few moments to talk about some of his well-known songs, explaining the inspiration for them. He is also funny and really loves his audience. Even better than that, though, is seeing him get really lost in his music and performing it as if it was still a new song. I've seen many performers from the 70s and 80s just dialing it in, but he was very much enjoying it. The venue - we got a surprise in that our tickets not only got us into the OC Fair for free, but we got a free ride on the ferris wheel. BE WARNED - they marked our tickets with a sharpie when we entered the concert, then we had to surrender part of our ticket to get on the Ferris Wheel.
Amazing concert; he played all the hits which was not expected as I have seen him before and he played half of that. The band was good, if you closed your eyes, you woudl think you were listening to Supertramp. Rick Davis will always be missed of course but you cannot get a better alternative than that. Roger is still at the top of his form with his voice and keyboards. Great friendly atmosphere with audience interraction between songs makes you feel like you are in a private performance. Truly unforgettable evening....
Great concert, Roger Hodgson sounded better than he did when I saw him with Supertramp in 1982. Love the outdoor venue. Also, the opening act Al Stewart was awesome too.
We have seen Roger in concert about a dozen times. This was my least favorite of all his shows. I enjoy his older songs. I don’t mind some new stuff, but this show had more stuff that I had never heard. Al Stewart, loved the songs that I recognized! Huge thank you to Security! Thank you for putting a stop to the smiokers and vapers. As a non~smoker it was nice to see Security put a stop to all the jerks who have to smoke and vape!
We thoroughly enjoyed Rogers music and Al Stewart as opening act.
Great concert ! all the great song, sounds amazing and Roger was sharp and had great connection with audience. They sound great and I enjoyed the good music.
I really enjoyed seeing Roger Hodgson! I was a little worried that his voice may have deteriorated some because, well we are not spring chickens anymore, but his voice was as good as ever and he hit every note!! He played all his hits as well as a couple of new songs. I was very impressed and will go again.
Roger Hodgson used excellent band members, and everything was played correctly. He seemed happy to be there. His songlist could not of been much better, considering he didn’t sing everything on the albums. The only negatives were that it’s never loud enough at the Pacific amphitheater because of noise restrictions, And their parking situation is just badly run...
Roger Hodgson is a true force -- an amazingly gifted songwriter and musician who still sounds fantastic decades after scaling the charts with Supertramp. His band is also top-notch.
Roger Hudgson is incredible, years after year he just sings amazing.
