Rodney Carrington on Tour
One of America's most popular comedians and an actor and author to boot, Rodney Carrington shows just what kind of good times can happen when country meets comedy.
Since the breakthrough success of his first major-label release Hangin' with Rodney in 1998, Carrington has been a favorite of audiences all over the world thanks to his enjoyably raucous take on the best things in life, starting with whatever's in the bottle in front of him. With signature songs like "Just One Beer," "Wish She Would Have Left Quicker" and "Put Your Clothes Back On," he proves that some jokes just go better when combined with the twang and swagger of a country tune.
In addition to being one of America's Top 10 highest-grossing comedians, Carrington headlined his own ABC sitcom with Rodney and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses. In 2017, his special Here Comes The Truth brought his blue-collar brand of stand-up and musical comedy to Netflix. His 2020 tour of venues across the U.S. and Canada follows the release of his latest album, Get Em Out, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart.
Rodney Carrington Background
Rodney Carrington has been providing proudly blue-collar audiences something to laugh about ever since his earliest days as a performer at local venues and on radio shows in his native Texas in the ‘90s.
After years of touring nationally, Carrington's breakthrough came with the 1998 release of Hangin' With Rodney, a CD that introduced listeners to the combination of comedy and country music that fast became his trademark. In 2000, he scored his first Top 20 album on Billboard's country chart with Morning Wood, an equally raucous collection that included such fan favorites as "A Dozen Roses" and "Older Women."
Along with earning platinum sales as a recording artist, Carrington's achievements include starring in the ABC sitcom Rodney (2004-2006) and co-writing and co-starring with superstar Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses (2008). In 2007, he made the jump to the publishing world with his first book, Coming Clean. His Netflix special Here Comes the Truth debuted in 2017. Get Em Out, his eighth comedy album, was released in 2019.

The seating at Morongo kind of sucked...just regular, uncomfortable chairs zip-tied together to make rows. Hopefully you knew and liked your neighbor because the seats were so close together. But, other than that, it was a great time!

It went on and on and Rodney got irritated. IMG should handle these problems immeidiately.

We have been listening to him for some time on our XM Radio and knew that if he ever came close enough for us to see him that we would. We rally enjoyed the show and will go see him again if he is in the area again. We think he is the funniest comedian to come along in a long time. Thanks again Rodney for a great time!!!

I was very impressed with the way Rodney handled an unruly gentleman in the audience. He made sure that one individual did not ruin the show for everyone. Kudos to Rodney for his professionalism! We enjoyed the show & are looking forward to seeing him again. A wonderful performance!

Boy, am I glad I did. He kept us laughing from the time he came on stage until the time he inflated his little friends and left the stage. I would go see him again!
