Rodney Carrington on Tour
One of America's most popular comedians and an actor and author to boot, Rodney Carrington shows just what kind of good times can happen when country meets comedy.
Since the breakthrough success of his first major-label release Hangin' with Rodney in 1998, Carrington has been a favorite of audiences all over the world thanks to his enjoyably raucous take on the best things in life, starting with whatever's in the bottle in front of him. With signature songs like "Just One Beer," "Wish She Would Have Left Quicker" and "Put Your Clothes Back On," he proves that some jokes just go better when combined with the twang and swagger of a country tune.
In addition to being one of America's Top 10 highest-grossing comedians, Carrington headlined his own ABC sitcom with Rodney and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses. In 2017, his special Here Comes The Truth brought his blue-collar brand of stand-up and musical comedy to Netflix. His 2020 tour of venues across the U.S. and Canada follows the release of his latest album, Get Em Out, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart.
Rodney Carrington Background
Rodney Carrington has been providing proudly blue-collar audiences something to laugh about ever since his earliest days as a performer at local venues and on radio shows in his native Texas in the ‘90s.
After years of touring nationally, Carrington's breakthrough came with the 1998 release of Hangin' With Rodney, a CD that introduced listeners to the combination of comedy and country music that fast became his trademark. In 2000, he scored his first Top 20 album on Billboard's country chart with Morning Wood, an equally raucous collection that included such fan favorites as "A Dozen Roses" and "Older Women."
Along with earning platinum sales as a recording artist, Carrington's achievements include starring in the ABC sitcom Rodney (2004-2006) and co-writing and co-starring with superstar Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses (2008). In 2007, he made the jump to the publishing world with his first book, Coming Clean. His Netflix special Here Comes the Truth debuted in 2017. Get Em Out, his eighth comedy album, was released in 2019.
Excellent show. The man is hysterical, his stories are funny as heck. Would go again.
Excellant concert. Need quicker way to accomadate the masses for drinks, otherwise was a great experience.
Rodney was awesome. One of the best shows we ever went to. Would go to see him again.
We sat right up near the stage. He was great and you couldn't ask for a better show. I would go see him again when he is in the area. Of course not the same place. I don't have the same opinion of the way they crammed us into the seats. You didn't have any breathing room and forget about moving once you were seated.
The show was amazing, our seats were terrific. Rodney knows how to put on a great show! I Will definitely see him again.
Rodney was soooo funny. His act kept the whole audience laughing the whole time. His start up comedians were also funny.
classic carrington, sang, told stories, movies, very funny
Rodney puts on a great show- he's hilarious and not only is he a great commedian, but he's a talented singer, so you get a good combination of commedy, music, sneak peeks at his new videos, and even some tv clips.
very very funny!! real good show. had me and family in stitches
My husband traveled 7 hours to see Rodney Carrington for our 15th wedding anniversary and it was our most memorable anniversary yet. Rodney was hysterical. The comedic stand-up, songs, and way he interacted with the audience had us laughing so hard our sides were hurting. It was definately worth the long travel and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Rodney has been my favorite comedian for 10 years and when I finaly got to see him live, he didn't disappoint!! Excellent excellent show.
I bought these tickets for my husband's birthday. I had no idea what to expect. Rodney was absolutely hysterical and really came across as a good guy. I would recommend his show to anyone!
The Best Comic Ever! This guy tells it like it is and believe you me I can relate! Great show bubba! I did think the show was short in time wise.... but still ... it was very entertaining. That good ole boy should get a CMA Award for some of them songs, whats this country come too! Keep Up The Great Work Rodney!
i had to drag my boyfriend to the show but after he got there and realized who rodney was, he loved it!!! i would diffantitly go back to see him again. bought a dvd and cd's too. also think the tickets weren't over priced!
Rodney put on a great show. The Inn of the Mountain Gods is small enough that there is not a bad seat in the house. Well worth the money.
GOOD SHOW MISSED PART OF IT BECAUSE I BOUGHT BEST AVAILABLE SEATS DID NOT KNOW WE WERE WAY RIGHT OF THE STAGE MISSED THE BEST PART OF SHOW. WE NEED TO KNOW ORDER OF SEATS, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF BUYING CHEAPER SEATS CLOSER TO MIDDLE OF STAGE.
Rodney Carrington makes you laugh till you ache..what a funny guy. He says things we all think but are afraid to say and he makes you look at things in a whole lot different way
It was a great show, Rodney was as funny as ever. He knows how to put on a good show, a very good all around entertainer. I would recommend this show to all adults.
Rodney and his show was amazinly funny as always. The Paramount Theatre on the other hand was so hot that everyone around us almost passed out.
all except for the short time he was on stage, a heckler in the front probably had something to do with it. I would go again, and it seemed that rodney was suffering from a cold or something, just not the same voice i listen to on the cd or dvd. PLUS ITS PAST TIME FOR HIM TO DO ANOTHER LIVE DVD.
