Rodney Carrington on Tour
One of America's most popular comedians and an actor and author to boot, Rodney Carrington shows just what kind of good times can happen when country meets comedy.
Since the breakthrough success of his first major-label release Hangin' with Rodney in 1998, Carrington has been a favorite of audiences all over the world thanks to his enjoyably raucous take on the best things in life, starting with whatever's in the bottle in front of him. With signature songs like "Just One Beer," "Wish She Would Have Left Quicker" and "Put Your Clothes Back On," he proves that some jokes just go better when combined with the twang and swagger of a country tune.
In addition to being one of America's Top 10 highest-grossing comedians, Carrington headlined his own ABC sitcom with Rodney and co-starred with Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses. In 2017, his special Here Comes The Truth brought his blue-collar brand of stand-up and musical comedy to Netflix. His 2020 tour of venues across the U.S. and Canada follows the release of his latest album, Get Em Out, which hit No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart.
Rodney Carrington Background
Rodney Carrington has been providing proudly blue-collar audiences something to laugh about ever since his earliest days as a performer at local venues and on radio shows in his native Texas in the ‘90s.
After years of touring nationally, Carrington's breakthrough came with the 1998 release of Hangin' With Rodney, a CD that introduced listeners to the combination of comedy and country music that fast became his trademark. In 2000, he scored his first Top 20 album on Billboard's country chart with Morning Wood, an equally raucous collection that included such fan favorites as "A Dozen Roses" and "Older Women."
Along with earning platinum sales as a recording artist, Carrington's achievements include starring in the ABC sitcom Rodney (2004-2006) and co-writing and co-starring with superstar Toby Keith in the feature film Beer For My Horses (2008). In 2007, he made the jump to the publishing world with his first book, Coming Clean. His Netflix special Here Comes the Truth debuted in 2017. Get Em Out, his eighth comedy album, was released in 2019.

Had a great time with Rodney. He puts on a great Adults Show. And no easily offended need attend.
This show was great! Still laughing and it was worth fighting to find a parking spot and fighting traffic to get there.
The show was very entertaining! The seats we had were very uncomfortable!
Rodney Carrington was great if you could hear him. We sat five rows from the stage but the two rows behind us had two full rows of drunks that talked....loudly and we couldn't hear him!!! Multiple people complained about them to no avail! No one even came to ask them to quit down. Some people in front of us left about twenty minutes into the show because they were so disgusted! It was not a good experience and I will never attend another show at the Missouri Theater again nor see Rodney Carrington again if this behavior is allowed! Waste of money in my opinion!
Rodney Carrington was amazing! Had my husband and I crying we were laughing so hard. As for the venue. I felt like we were crammed in the like sardines. I know it was a sold out show but us old folks need our room to more while sitting.
My fiancé has been wanting to see Rodney Carrington for years, and was NOT disappointed! We had a blast and greatly enjoyed the show. The casino was beautiful and easy to navigate. We will be back for future shows for sure!
First time seeing Rodney and he didn’t disappoint. I would have liked him to sing more of his songs but I understand you only have so much time. My cheeks still hurt from laughing!
I thought the show was kinda short and could have been at least a 1/2 hour longer with some old stories. He has a lot of good stories that I am sure he is tired of telling, but the bar tender story was weak. Just my thought. Over all this was our first time seeing him and was glad that we went.
Real good experience. Would see him again. It was a fun night,
Was interesting to go to a Rodney show, I'd heard his bits off old CDs, guess Iost track of how old he was, I felt like he was talking to a room full of geriatrics at a nursing home. All his bits were about not being able to rise to the occasion or some other crazy old issue. I'm not saying I'm young but damn, I left there feeling like the rest of my years are gonna suck lol. Overall the act was not for me. The venue was also kind of cramped, I got seats in section 101 but immediately wished I had gotten front row of the balcony, will remember that for next time.
The room was clean, cool air, friendly staff. Hotel in and seated in just a matter of minutes. Rodney was a blast. Great night all around.
Had good seats, enjoyed Rodney Carrington and will use again when needing to go to a show.
Went to a show several years back during his divorce and the show was just dark and not full of energy. The funny man is BACK, this show was full of tons of new material and had me and my wife rolling the whole time. Meet him after the show and he was so nice and a pleasure to visit with. Highly Highly recommend going to see him.
New material and very good show. Well worth going too.
This was my first at Jackpot, and I had a great experience. Rodney Carrington did not disappoint, he was halarious. Thanks 😊
Awesome! So funny! I couldn't stop laughing! I would go again.
All I can say is if you ever have a chance to see Rodney Carrington in person you so need to. The show is so more than worth it. Nate Taylor was great opening act. I will never forget his name.
Show was great. The problem was the venue needs the raise the stage so everyone can see. The stage is not high enough. Either raise the stage or raise the seats up like stadium seats
Rodney has always been a favorite of mine, he exceeded my expectations for mine & my husbands first comedy show.
