  • TERRIBLE

by tpk on 2/3/25Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

You should refund the money we spent on Rocky Mountain Low. It was so bad we left at intermission. His voice did not sound like John Denver, singing wasn't good, stage was pitiful (a little Christmas tree with white lights). Horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone. I saw Simon & Garfunkel and they were amazing!! I thought why not, J.D. seeing that was my Wifes first concert at age 14. Then splat, wanted to leave after his 3rd song.

  • Warm, heartfelt start to Christmas!

by JMM on 12/24/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed this experience, it was a great mix of classic John Denver, Christmas sing-alongs, heartwarming stories, and uplifting anecdotes. He is truly a genuine person and it was lovely to be in his presence paying tribute to nature, faith, and the great songwriting of John Denver.

  • Nice Mix

by Th on 12/23/24Ames Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Did a nice mix of Denver hits and Christmas songs. Voice and mannerisms were pretty authentic. “Far out”

  • Very good concert

    by papasmurf4705 on 12/22/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

This was very well done. We like the stories he told about John and others. Very well done, like the interaction with the audience.

  • John Denver Christmas

by Mike on 12/22/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was fantastic, the venue is lovely, the parking was seamless. We had a great night. The ushers need some training though. Two young women behind us were taking pictures with their flashlights and/or flash setting on, and the bright light was very distracting. And they did it 4 or 5 times, not just once. The ushers did nothing. They also crinkled their plastic water bottle thoughout the concert. The ushers did nothing. Several people were seated late in front of us. They should have been made to sit in the back in unoccupied seats until intermission instead of disturbing the concert which had already started. All these things would have been properly handled at Orchestra Hall. Other than that, the ushers were cheerful and helpful. The people serving in the Cafe were exceptional as well

  • Terrible

by Terry on 12/21/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

We left at halftime we thought he was terrible I sing better than he does I hate to say that but it's true and I was so excited to go and I paid $180 for two tickets. He was an okay entertainer

  • John Denver Christmas was a truly great show!

by Dan from Garden Grove on 12/15/24City National Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Rocky Mountain High Experience: A John Denver Christmas and it was even better than I expected. The Grove in Anaheim is a great little venue with no bad seats and easy parking. There is plenty of aisle space for people to get in and out of the rows. The tribute artist Rick Shuler was a beautiful singer, who had a resemblance to John Denver. He was full of personality, had a great sense of humor and he added stories of his personal background, talked about his archaeological finds (Dead Sea Scrolls in a cave in Qumran, Israel and shared emotional stories connected to the movie Sunshine. I really enjoyed this show which mixed traditional Christmas music and John Denver classics and invited audience participation.

  • Our Holiday Tradition

by BruceR on 12/10/24Ames Center - BurnsvilleRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I always get tickets for this show. It eased into the Holiday Spirit with mellow Jon Denver classics along with the Christmas standards of our younger days.

  • Lacking

by Wooman on 12/9/24Ames Center - BurnsvilleRating: 3 out of 5

It was our first time there and we were not sure what we were going to see. We were not that impressed by the how the stage was decorated for what was a holiday theme. The lame 2 trees that I’m sure were fake were terrible and boring. The program was nice and the singer was talented but a little too much talking rather than performing. We would not go again.

  • Excellent concert!

It was an excellent concert, better than I imagined.
