Loved it. Very good value as I took three people to this first class live show for less then what one ticket would cost in Las Vegas. We didn’t want it to end. Would go see again in a heartbeat.
The show was only two thirds full, what a shame. The folks on the gulf coast missed out on an amazing show, all who performed were true pro's. Violin, she was terrific, show was truly one not to miss. Sorry Gulf coast. P.S. Please come back, I'll go everytime.
One of the best concerts that I've seen in some time. Very professional artists and the acoustics were perfect. Don't miss this show if it returns - you'll thank me!!!
If you're familiar with classical, this will introduce you to rock. If you're familiar with rock, this will introduce you to classical. I loved it because I'm familiar with both.
I saw them on PBS. I had no idea who they were, so I kept watching and waited for a break when the host would announce who they were. I ran to my computer and bought 2 box seats. My husband was skeptical, but went along. We were both blown away at the talent, the choreography, the lighting, and most important- THE MUSIC. Classic rock, opera, symphony...they had it all. We will be back next year. THIS is TRULY a not-to-miss show.
My 2nd time. They are amazing, the energy, their voices were perfect, the local talent was tremendous. The mash up of songs blended perfect. Can't wait for the 3rd show????
It was amazing from beginning to end. I wish there was room for a full orchestra so we could get the full live experience but the performers and musicians that were there were very talented. The mix of music was perfect! I can see how all ages would enjoy it. I'm glad my sister and I had box seats because we felt free to stand up and dance and rock along with the music. It was a wonderful show!
Great venue, good seats, awesome performance. Covered many of my favorite songs.
We loved everything about Rocktopia, from the vocalists, the orchestra, and the chorus to the song/composition selection and arrangements. Thanks for bringing this show to the Beau Rivage!
Run do not walk to go see this concert. What a totally vibrant,eclectic,incredible,awesome integration of Claassical/opera,and rock you will ever encounter. Why this show does not sell out is purley the ignorance of the public and perhaps a small bit of poor promoting!! For what all these artists(the 5 vocalists were amazing in their range and ability to sing each song so majestically) & ALL 20+muscians (from the beautiful nymph like Celtic violinist to the orchestra & choir) adding SOOOOO much energy and sound,do up on that stage with these classic rock tunes and the classical/operatic songs, is just a great work of art!! PLEASE go see this show and support it so they will keep this alive and COME BACK!! Went to see it 3 times this past weekend. Not sure how the vocalists can do 4 shows in 3 days,but BOY DID THEY!! Praying they tour again!!!!
They really did an awesome job with the music. Played straight thru with no breaks. So glad we went.
Rocktopia was amazing and exceeded expectations. It mixed the rock and classics seamlessly. I was so glad to see Ms. Nesbitt. She was wonderful.
I saw this on PBS in Budapest. Immediately bought tickets to this event. Loved it. I’m still singing...

A truly unique, mindblowing experience. Every performer was extraordinarily talented and performed with extreme passion. My wife went with reluctance(she hadn't heard of Rocktopia) and has not stopped raving about it. I will go every year they're
What a great evening! Didn’t know what to expect and really enjoyed the blend of classic rock, classical music, and opera! I would definitely go again!
I leave very few reviews but Rocktopia deserves one for sure. The combination of an orchestra, choir, violin phenom, rock, band, opera and incredibly talented singers is an experience you can find nowhere else. I just wish they were here more than one night. I would have gone back and brought a crowd.
We were speechless.....every single number was a gift....we had no expectations...no one could...the performers continued to exceed every imaginable concept we could have had..I only wish we could see this performance every 3 months...because of the beauty of the Costumes....performers....and voices were unsurpassed....
Not would I would normally watch, but Wife wanted to see, was a good production
