The Performance was amazing. The RSO was flawless and the Dancers completely charming, Those featured danced with great beauty and the entire ensemble was joyful. The Prelude Dinner up on the 3rd Floor was a special treat that enhanced the experience,
Symphony sounded great and the music choice was fun.
We are semi regular RSO concert goers and took the opportunity to bring our kids (10 - 12) and grandma. Everyone enjoyed this concert tremendously. Steve Larson chose kid friendly music and kept the songs short and moving along. The costumes were fun and the movie screen kept the tech minded kids in their comfort zone. Sincerely hope they do more of these family concerts. Just Excellent!
This was one of the most enjoyable concerts that we have ever attended, and we go to the RSO and CSO each year. I know they have this every year but this is the first time we have attended. We will definitely go again.

My experiences with the RSO/Coronado exceed all of my CSO/Orchestra Hall experiences. The convenience of the parking, the beauty & superb sound quality of the theatre, the musical talent of the performers, & the pre-concert lectures are amazing. I don't have to fight the traffic into Chicago & pay outrageous fees for parking & concert tickets. The quality of RSO's performance and the wonderful Lee Chin made for a great evening. I will be back again & again.
Holiday Pops Concert was AMAZING! I gave tickets to my mom for her birthday. Now I will be adding it as an annual event to our holidays for my whole family. Bless you RSO & Coronado! I had so much fun. Great music. Brightened the whole season. The joy of Rich Ridenour's piano, those incredible singing boys, and the always wonderful RSO were OUTSTANDING!! Bravo!
This program presented a good variety of music. It kept the attention of the audience at all times. It made you feel good. The pianist was excellent and his sence of humor added much to the performance. The orchestra was superb. "The Singing Boys" did a great job. "Christmas Soup" a delight.

Saw Nutcracker in Rockford. What can I say? Saw Joffrey too many times so high school students can't compare. Overall it was a nice version. Some slow spots. Needed some better choreography. April Daly and her partner made the show! Amazing dancing.
The last time I saw RDC perform the Nutcracker, April Daly was the snow queen, Under the apt artistic tutelage of Margaret Faust. She executed 16 fouette turns flawlessly. This is what I wanted to see - the same level of talent that Margaret Faust's artistic direction brought to the stage. Her production of the "Nutcracker", was full of Larger than life beauty, traditional Yet extremely artful choreography, Big movement, and expertly developed talent - Right down to the littlest ballerina. The company dancers in this production lacked energy, the corps de ballet were Unsynchronized and heavy. The artistic interpretation was flat. The highlight, of course, was getting to see April Daly in the role of the sugar plum fairy. She has grown into a beautiful young woman, And a superb dancer. It always was a pleasure to watch her dance, Even it was just in one of the many rehearsals for the Nutcracker. I don't know who is responsible for letting Margaret Faust get away, but they should be without a job. I would only recommend, based on the venue.
The orchestra was flawless. The guest ballet dancers were very good. I have seen this performance at other venues and thought this one might be the best I have seen.
Took my granddaughter to her first program at Coronado P.A.C.. The music and dance riveted her to her seat. Thru out the performance she smiled and moved with the music. Made my evening. Solid dance movements by even the youngest. As always, RSO was in tune and clearly had the music well rehearsed. Always ready to go again.
Have been to 13 years of Nutcracker and have enjoyed everyone of them....But the dancing was absolutely superb this year. Great show!
This was a great production. I was impressed with both the Dance Company and the RSO. The two leads were Fantastic.
The quartet was wonderful. Could have done without the first number by the wind ensemble
