Worth doing once in your life

by BluesinC on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

I watch the induction ceremony religiously every year, so decided I wanted to be there this year. Hearing the bands was of course the best part. They all sounded good. The crew deserve a lot of credit for getting the stage changed between acts while speeches were being made - there was never a lag or delay. The speeches, well they varied. The people introducing the bands were generally well rehearsed and well-spoken and told interesting stories about the bands that even an avid fan may not know. Hearing from the bands themselves, not always so great. At least some bands limited the speech to the front man (props to Robert Smith), but others, everyone had to have their moment to thank everyone in their lives. Even though it was a little tedious, the enthusiasm of the fans, the evident gratitude of the inductees, and the great music made for a memorable night. Can’t wait to see it on TV!

    Great!

    by E. F. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

It was good. My favorite moments was Trent Reznor induct Robert Smith and The Cure of course nothing beats their performances. Always the best! But in all honestly, I don’t see myself paying to see this again. Not worth the money.

    Lotta good music

    by L. B. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

I really enjoyed the show. I was disappointed that Janet Jackson didn’t perform. Getting out of Barclays was difficult and slow moving.

Awesome show! Way better then I expected

    by Bradygirl9 on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

I was there to see Def Leppard especially, but was really excited that some other bands that I liked were also being inducted. Of Course Def Leppard was Awesome as usual, but Stevie Nicks, and the Cure totally rocked the house. I was really worried about being bored in between the acts, but they knew just how to keep it rolling. I had a great time, and will attend again!!

    Once in a lifetime experience

    by PePe516 on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

First of all, i am a HUGE Stevie Nicks fan, so to be there when she was inducted was incredible. To be in the presence of so many rock legends was amazing. The event itself while long was super well organized and was kept moving.my advice if you are a super fan of an artist being inducted to the R&RHOF: GO! GO! GO!

    Excellent show, great time.

    by C. K. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

I really enjoyed the show, the sound was great and the videos were situated where everyone could see. I wish there had been merchandise available for sale. It was definitely amazing to see so many of my favorites in one place for one night. Celebrity sighting was fun too.

by Jack on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

Once in a lifetime event. A bill with The Cure, Roxy Music (reunited), Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, the Zombies ... awesome montages of my favorite groups (including Radiohead) ... awesome inductors, sweet jam at end, good tall boys. Long Live Rock n' Roll!

    Less than what I expected

by Nick on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

To start, when I bought my ticket I went in expecting to see the live red carpet event and that was closed off from the public this year. Huge disappointment as we are the fans and I would have liked to have seen the inductees as well as other celebrities who were in attendance. As I walked in I expected to find inductee merchandise to commemorate the event and that you were there for it but in actuality there wasn’t a t-shirt or program in sight. Very disappointing to find that no rock and Roll Hall of Fame merchandise was there. From there some of the artists who performed were great but without mentioning names six songs is a little excessive. The event started at 7pm and by 10pm only 4 inductions had occurred. It was very long and drawn out by some artists. I ended up leaving just after 10pm as I came from out of town for the event. To stay until after 12 midnight to see the induction in its entirety was not something I expected to do. Maybe I was naive but I don’t think this is something I would do again unless certain things change or outlines are given upon purchase of the ticket. Congrats to the inductees. The only positive is that Stevie Nicks was first to perform and came out guns a blazin!

    R & R Hall of fame

by Ellen on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

I had a great time. I had VIP tickets and most of what they promised we got. Sad some of the inductees did not play at the show. The one band I really wanted to see was Def Leppard and they performed at the soundcheck an during the show.

Overall good but find a better facility.

by Rockandrollerdeuceswild on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

When you sell tickets to a program such as this you expect better sound. Sometimes people would talk and you could not hear them at all. The facility is an over priced venue. 18 bucks for popcorn. The rock hall should sell induction memorabilia somewhere in the facility or at least outside. I’m sure they don’t because it would cost them too much. Never been in a facility where people stand in the isles during the program. I also understand you have VIPs at the show but to have just one exit is pretty crazy at the end of the program.

    Great Show

    by L. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

The show was incredible.. all my favorite bands who performed delivered! The night belonged to Stevie Nick the first female ever inducted twice. Def Leppard rocked the house with a set of classics then to end the night with an all star jam with Brian May on the guitar and the legendary Ian Hunter on Mott the Hooples “ All the Young Dudes”.. if you are a true fan of a few or all the bands it’s worth the cost.. The Cure stole the show midway and Roxy Music brought back the glam and romance of 70’s rock! The Zombies showed everyone why they were so important but underrated band from the British Invasion ... LOVED THE SHOW!!🎺🎷🎻🎹🎤🥁 💃👢🎩🌸🎸💋🇬🇧

Too much talking of little substance

    by H. E. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

More music next time. Discussing contributions is great but a list of superlatives could have allowed for more music.

rock and roll hof induction ceremony

by LB on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

Seats were in section 223 row8. Looked decent on the map but in reality they were very poor. Felt like distance from the floor was like sitting all the way up in a baseball stadium. Concession choices very poor in the second level. Regular size hog dog and 32 oz. Soda=$22. Sickening

    Awesomeness

    by R. J. on 4/1/19Barclays Center - Brooklyn

Great performances. Only problem was that the had a few technical issues with the sound...once during Little Stevie’s presentation and again with the finale. Overall, a very enjoyable show.
