You can't beat a Saturday night in downtown Rochester than an evening w/ our Amerks!
I think the Rochester Amerks is doing well so the Penguins has 2 goals, and then the Amerks has 3 goals? But the Rochester Amerks won already?
The only complaint is that there is no leg room when seated otherwise it was a great game!
Took my daughter to the hockey game. People were in our seat. Told staff this and nothing got done. They moved after we raised enougj hell. They sat behind us and decided to pour beer on us several times. My daughter went to buy a sweat shirt and came back to our seats. The idiots took my daughters bag sweatahirt and all. By the time we noticed it they left. We stayed a total of 10 min or less. My daughter was so upset we decided to leave. Should have never got this far.
Great intimate arena and the Amerks won... we'll be back several more times this season.
The Wednesday, May 25th Laval Rocket/Rochester Americans playoff game that the Rocket won in 3OT featured amazing excitement! Excellent and friendly Rochester Americans staff and ushers (including Ed) as well! Boisterous crowd of over 10,000 fans added to the memorable experience!
The lines at concessions between periods were ridiculous. You couldn't move in the concourse area. The food court area had such a poorly managed line that is spilled out into the walkway. The line I waited in for beer was set up to cross an entrance to the arena, so you constantly had folks pushing through the line to get past. And there was definitely a lack of any sense of urgency to keep the lines moving by the employees. They really need to set up some serpentine-type of line structure to help maintain order.
The hockey game was amazing. It was an action packed experience! Our seats were outstanding, with great views of the game. The venue itself is nice, definitely an old arena feel which I like, with comfortable seating. The merchandise shop is solid, with decent offerings at affordable prices. The only disappointing part of the evening was the food scene. There’s not much selection and the food is average at best.
Great game triple overtime the only problem was Ticketmaster customer service never again
Entry was smooth, I'm not a fan of e-tickets, I've always preferred having them in my hand prior, but it went well, the games were amazing, so refreshing to be in such a large crowd, the atmosphere sure gets your adrenaline flowing, of course some around us were annoying, getting food and using bathroom between periods is usually difficult, this time we it went great, we were back in our seats with time to spare, no complaints, except the result, loss series in a triple OT loss, but my Grandboy and I had a amazing time together.
Started out great came out scoring and had you in the edge of your seat.
Great game, triple OT, unfortunately someone had to lose. Blue Cross is a great arena. Small enough to be close to the action and feel the intensity.
If the seats were any smaller I would have never sat down. After the 1st period I was better off walking around trying to find a spot to look over a railing. I'm not that big. 6"2, 270 lbs
The outdoor pregame events made for a great atmosphere. The ticket/checkin process was very easy and fast. There was a lot going on in the arena and it was a lot of fun. The earlier start time also made for an excellent experience.
Lived where we sat, but like e ery other time we attend an event @ Blue Cross Arena, the overhead speakers suck!!! We can't hear anything!! And nothing is being done about it!!
We had a blast. The atmosphere was electric. Our 6 year old was in heaven. Now on to game 1
It was an exciting event, the house was filled, the fans were electric. The game was very entertaining, it went to overtime with the Rochester Americans coming out on top 4-3 over the Utica Comets. It's been a minute since we have been able to enjoy a great Playoff game with that kind of atmosphere. Hopefully Rochester will continue winning, so more fans get to experience the excitement of Playoff Hockey.
Had an awesome time at the Amerks game. It was a full house and the crowd was electric. Made for a memorable night!
Easy entry, great concessions and comfortable seating!
Great game and atmosphere in arena and outside easy to get to from NT. Hopefully will get to go another Amerks game this year .
