ROBYN IN CONCERT:
Swedish synthpop sensation Robyn has teamed up with fellow Nordic electro titans Royksopp to bring fans one of the most dance-soaked concert events of the summer season. With her signature moves and futuristic image, Robyn puts on one heck of a bleeding edge show, and she never fails to wow audiences with her ability to sing through even the most complex choreography. Whether she's bouncing to the chugging beats and icy synths of "Dancing on My Own" or joining Royksopp on stage to perform collabo tracks like "Do It Again," she's sure to have fans dancing the night away on the Royksopp & Robyn Do It Again Tour 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Stockholm-born Robyn got her start as a child voice actor before moving on to music, performing her first self-written song on Swedish television at just age 12. By middle school she had signed to a major label subsidiary, and at age 16 she released her debut full-length Robyn Is Here. The album launched her to international fame as bubbly pop singles like "Show Me Love" and "Do You Know (What It Takes)" cracked the US Top 10 and received club play around the world. After releasing two more dance pop albums in the early '00s Robyn parted ways with her previous label, and in 2005 she debuted a new electro-influenced sound and image with her self-titled fourth album. The stylistic shift was tremendously well received, pushing the album to No. 1 in her native Sweden and resulting in her first UK No. 1 "With Every Heartbeat." Back on tour in 2014 with longtime collaborators Royksopp, Robyn is primed to deliver another round of unforgettable high-octane performances.

This by far this has been the best concert of the year. Robin absolutely killed it! Her energy was insane, and the crowd was absolutely wild. It was like a dance club party at this concert. I am in love.
Amazing show. No issues waiting on line or finding my seat. Prices for food and drink were a little expensive. Great view on the balcony with a beautiful stage set up.
This was one truly amazing show. Robyn was singing her hart out and poured so much emotion into every song. The crowed was amazing and gave back the awesome energy.
Danced for 2 hours straight! Robyn is a goddess - a must see if she comes near you!
Robyn herself was great. The set design was a little too busy for the size of the stage. And the sculpture of the intertwined hands was unnecessary and blocked the view of the video screen for anyone left of center. Robyn did play all of her well known songs and even a few newer ones. It was a great variety of her songs and showcased her well. I just wish the venue had been larger to accommodate everyone.
Robyn herself was great. Location seemed too big for the sound system used to play smaller venues. Concert song selections didn’t flow nicely leaving the audience confused and standing around looking for something to do as you couldn’t hear the performance well. Stage curtains had technical difficulties. Either way love Robyn but this performance wasn’t her best.
The Robyn show, though sold out, was well managed and very fun to attend. Lines for drinks were long, which was expected, but the rest of the event seemed to run smoothly. Thank you for hosting her!!!
From beginning to end .. with the opener Kindness playing in between sets.. WOW.. and then Robyn hitting the stage ..I waited 9 years to see her (since the last performance) I was truly truly satisfied!!
After years of waiting, we were finally able to see Robyn perform live. It was worth the wait!!! The performance was nothing short of amazing! I cannot wait to see her again! Thank you for the experience.
Robyn is back and better than ever. Although her tour came to my hometown, I would’ve travelled miles to see her.
Robyn was stunning and anazing as always! Fox Theatre has really stepped it up with its beautiful venue and amazing sound system. I can’t wait to see her again!
Robyn’s still got it, as she demonstrated in her thoroughly badass show at the Fox Oakland this week.
I loved watching Robyn she is an unbelievable performer. However the VIP experience you paid for was horrible. The email stated you go to the box office to get in at 5:30 which was not what happened. They had people entering in through the Den but there was no sign. Then when you got in they didn't let us on the floor till a couple minutes before GA got in so we just stood in a cramped hallway when we should have gotten early access to the floor and so we could go get merchandise.
Robyn was fantastic. She put on a show that was ridiculous. Singing, Dancing, and Livin. Only qualm I had about the night was that I bought VIP tickets which had some wording which made me think that I would be allowed into the area right below the main bar. I was super excited to go into this area so that I could have a little more room to dance. Alas, this area is only for the upgrade to "Telegraph Room" which is through the Fox, not any "VIP" tickets that get sold by the artist and has perks of it's own. Once again though, the show was amazing.
She played almost every song from her latest album plus all the songs you’d want to hear from her past. The crowd danced the whole time. I loved this concert.
I went both nights, had a great time both nights. It was easy to get in & out of the venue. The minor improvements @ the Pallidium are very nice. Thanks for hosting the Red Bull production
Robyn, with a Y, is one of the best, or maybe the BEST techno artists out there. Most importantly, live she is EVEM BETTER than Memorex!!! Loved her concert this past Summer of 2015 at Boston Calling. She was the HEADLINER for the entire weekend Festival, and she performed!!!!!!
Robyn was nothing short of amazing. I have been a fan for a long time and was so lucky to be able to see her live! She really made this summer for me. The venue was perfect because it was like a block away from civic center station by Bart, so it was super convenient! If you haven't seen Robyn yet you are truly missing out. I just wish she woulda have had better designed band merchandise I really wanted to buy something, but a lot if it wasn't super cute.
I learned three things at this concert: 1-never try to push your way up to the front, you will get your feelings hurt. 2-never try to break up a fight between a gay man and a straight woman. 3-each time I've seen Robyn her show gets better and better. If you ever get the opportunity to see Robyn live, it will be a fantastic experience. I had so much fun and it was treat to be around people who enjoyed her music as much as I do. LOVE HER!!!!!
I thought the venue was great, overlooking part of the NYC skyline while also not being too overpacked. It was the right size for the venue and I really enjoyed myself at the Robyn concert!
