ROBYN IN CONCERT:

Swedish synthpop sensation Robyn has teamed up with fellow Nordic electro titans Royksopp to bring fans one of the most dance-soaked concert events of the summer season. With her signature moves and futuristic image, Robyn puts on one heck of a bleeding edge show, and she never fails to wow audiences with her ability to sing through even the most complex choreography. Whether she's bouncing to the chugging beats and icy synths of "Dancing on My Own" or joining Royksopp on stage to perform collabo tracks like "Do It Again," she's sure to have fans dancing the night away on the Royksopp & Robyn Do It Again Tour 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Stockholm-born Robyn got her start as a child voice actor before moving on to music, performing her first self-written song on Swedish television at just age 12. By middle school she had signed to a major label subsidiary, and at age 16 she released her debut full-length Robyn Is Here. The album launched her to international fame as bubbly pop singles like "Show Me Love" and "Do You Know (What It Takes)" cracked the US Top 10 and received club play around the world. After releasing two more dance pop albums in the early '00s Robyn parted ways with her previous label, and in 2005 she debuted a new electro-influenced sound and image with her self-titled fourth album. The stylistic shift was tremendously well received, pushing the album to No. 1 in her native Sweden and resulting in her first UK No. 1 "With Every Heartbeat." Back on tour in 2014 with longtime collaborators Royksopp, Robyn is primed to deliver another round of unforgettable high-octane performances.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"...Robyn came out and kept the crowd on their feet the entire time. She has been in the business for a long time and she deserves the recognition for her music style, songs, and perfect beats! I would see her again in a heartbeat!"

"...Robyn killed it! She was so on fire... Such a great performer. She's got lots of energy on the stage, and she can actually sing and dance at the same time without playback."

"Robyn, what can I say? She was in a dancing frenzy and every single one of us danced and sang right along with her. No one near me or behind me sat....ever. You could FEEL the passion and emotion exuding from her not just through her voice but from every motion."

The Best Show of The Year!

by Tboz2010 on 8/6/10Webster Hall - New York

Robyn and Kelis was the most exciting show I've seen in a very long time. I've never seen such an enthusiastic crowd, ever! At one point I seriously thought the floors of Webster Hall were going to crash in!

    double the fun

by buddio on 8/6/10Webster Hall - New York

The show was great. I liked both Kelis and Robyn. Kelis was looking hot. I secretly wished she had busted out into a dance/retro version of her single from back in the day "Caught Out There." Didn't happen. Robyn had so much energy and was excellent. They didn't perform together, which I thought a bit strange, but I would go back to see these two in a second.

Robyn & Kelis are a perfect pair!

by DamonHyper on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

The most fun I had in a while. The All Hearts Tour has two of the most unforgettable female artists of the moment, and they are there to interact and perform for their audience. Never have I seen two performers feed off the corwds energy so effectively. They also took the time to talk to the audience. A lovely night of great performaces in an impressive venue.

Far East Movement was ok. Like a g6 was really the only song worth listening to. Dan Black was also very mediocre. Kelis was very entertaining and Robyn was absolutely AMAZING.

    Simply Amazing.

by Kidblinks on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

This was quite possibly the best concert I ever attended. All the performers were amazing. Far East Movement and Dan Black opened the show and both with good but Dan Black was really magnetic. I loved his performance style. Kelis performed next and although claimed to be sick still brought down the house. Her singing was on point and her outfit was great. Robyn closes the show and burned the dance floor. She came back out towards the end to perform an encore. The entire night she floor shook from all the jumping and dancing. All and all this was an amazing concert. Be prepared to dance, sing and sweat and have an outrageous time.

Despite what you may read, Kelis was really really good live. Robyn was so good it changed my life, there's really nothing more to say.

by dirtwillie on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

It was a sweaty mess and a lot kids tweaking, but once Kelis and Robyn got on stage that all went away...they were great!!!! Far East Movement can be missed they suck! Dan Black was kooky but I actually like his music!

Simply Amazing from Start to Finish!

by GaysJustWannaHavefun on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

Possibly the best concert I've ever been to! I've waited years to see Robyn live in concert and she didn't disappoint - well worth the drive from Cleveland to NYC! Each of the four acts had the crowd energized and on their feet. I wasn't familiar with Fareast Movement, but am definitely a fan now. Dan Black was awesome and had ridiculous energy on stage. Despite being under the weather, Kelis put on a hell of a performance and looked amazing for someone that had a baby a year ago. And Robyn, what can I say? She was so modest and down to earth. You could tell she was genuinely touched by the response she garnered from her fans. She did a great mix of tracks from all 3 albums. I can't wait to hear more from all of these artists! Ahhhh-mazing!

    Perhaps Best Show this year

by hapislapigoldfrappi on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

I've seen 7 or 8 shows this year, all female acts, all great performers, but this show was really perhaps the best one. Kelis was having some vocal issues due to a bad cold, but she still rocked, and Robyn was simply electrifying.

    Robyn & Kelis were Amazing

by vcbnyc on 8/5/10Webster Hall - New York

Positives: Concert was incredible. Sets were amazing. Why Kelis & Robyn aren't world megastars is beyond me. Venue size was perfect for enjoying a great show. Negatives: During songs where the crowd was dancing, you could feel the floor beneath us bouncing up and down. Not a good feeling when you're in a nearly 200-year-old concert hall. The breakdown/setup between Robyn & Kelis's sets took forever. The venue was VERY stingy with the air conditioning on a 90-degree night.

Robyn Nailed It! Her beats we killing me! :)

    by Riddikulus813 on 8/4/10Trocadero - Philadelphia

This was a great concert! Far East Movement really got the crowd jumping and super pumped. Londoner Dan Black was next and added a creative flavor with the eye make up and edge with the guitars. Next up, Kelis was a powerful performer with great remixes and songs with a wonderful stage presence. Finally, ROBYN! She killed it! Loved the new remixes on songs and the attitude she brings on stage was electrifying! I would recommend this show over and over and over again!

Robyn & Kelis brought the house down!

by Maximilian on 7/29/10Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

I hadn't ever seen Kelis or Robyn in concert before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Kelis' set was about an hour long and filled with energy the entire time. She sang a couple of her more well-known songs like "Milkshake" and "Get Along With You" as well as a sampling of several songs from her new album, Flesh Tone. I definitely like "4th of July" the best and the entire hall was singing along too. As soon as Robyn came out the entire rest of the evening was just dancing, singing, and feeding off of the energy of her and her band. The entire performance definitely blew me away. She was dancing and moving around the small stage the entire time and you can tell that she was really enjoying performing and that she takes personal interest in every song she crafts. I didn't stop dancing the entire night and the energy of the crowd was fantastic. She sang a few of her new songs (love "Dancing On My Own"), some crowd pleasers ("Be Mine") and ended with what I think are her two biggest hits - a stripped down version of "Show Me Love" and then finishing the encore with "Heartbeat".
