    by Megulliver on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Concert was great! I did get get some whiplash from these fiftiesbopper ladies girating into me all night long, and my lap enjoyed my boubon & coke. Great venue and what a view of the cascades from "the Sno"

    Trower is terrific!!

    by billybob on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Ever since I watched a video of Robin Trower's act while dining at Konocti Resort, I realized I had to see him "live". Absolutely fabulous show! A solid 90 minute set playing all the standards - solid blues riffs with soaring solos & chord combos from another planet. Find his schedule and go! You will not be disappointed.

    Robin Trower was outstanding!!

    by GreatRalphicus on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

When I was in college in the early 1970's I bought three or four Robin Trower records. I knew even then that no one else played the electric guitar like Trower, About six months ago I watched about thirty minutes of a Trower concert on On Demand. It was obvious that Trower was still "cranking it out." I jumped at the chance of getting tickets. From the very beginning of the concert Robin established a special rapport with the audience. He is still at the top of his game. For the last three songs the audience was on their feet.

    Trower at Snoqualmie

    by llderf on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Fantastic show by the great blues guitar legend. 80 degree day in July at the fabulous Snoqualmie Lodge. There also happened to be a Hawaiian Tropic convention at the lodge- life is good- very good. The crowd was bouyant going into the 4th of July weekend- fantastic energy throughout the show. Trower opened with Twice Removed From Yesterday. Highlights included Shame The Devil, Day Of The Eagle followed by Bridge Of Sighs, Little Bit of Sympathy, and Too Rolling Stoned. As usual the man did not miss a note. Awesome heavy blues rock. We can only hope he continues to play here every year as he has for the last three. If you have not seen him, do not miss it next time.

    the robin trower show

    by rocknandy on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

once again the snoqualmie casino has brought in another great act, this time it was robin trower, robin came out and mixed a good set of music from the present to the past, all encoumpancing the classic trower sound, the drums and bass gave a great backing beat, and the vocals were strong, but we all came to here robin's guitar playing, and there was no disapointment there. if you were a fan in the seventies, or just just love the sound of rock guitar this is a must show, be you young or old we all had a great time. i wounder where he's playing tonight, might be worth the drive. rock n andy

    Robin Trower OK

    by pgs25 on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Technique still amazing, but I felt like I heard the same song over and over. Each song seemed to have the same tempo, and while his artistry is unquestionable, I was hoping to hear some new sounds.

ROBIN IS GOD!!! (my personal guitar god)

    by Randalla on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

I think I've seen every show Robin's performed at in the greater Seattle area since his first opening for Jethro Tull at the Seattle Center Ice Arena in I think '73? before Bridge of Sighs was released but he played the tunes along with his first awesome album. Most people didn't know who he was, but they sure did following that show! Last night at SnoCas was by far Robin's freshest most energetic yet relaxed performance since the very early days. Perhaps the mellowness of fine red wine like you need to sip while you listen to his incredible new personal album "What Lies Beneath" (best since BOS in my opinion). The fun thing for me was that he played many songs from early albums such as Hannah, Twice Removed From Yesterday, Victims of the Fury, Shame the Devil, etc.. along with his must plays of Day of the Eagle/Bridge of Sighs, Day of the Eagle, and the encore Too Rolling Stoned all of which I had performed with my bands around Seattle in the late '70's and early '80's till Disco really crushed the hard rock scene.

    Robin still has his chops

    by JDHAN on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Great show, took about half a song to get the vocals to cut through, after that sound was great. Good to see Robin again after many years. He looked great for an old man and played equally well. Very patient set, obviuosly he's having fun and not just padding his retirement fund. Would go see him again in a heartbeat.

Rock and Roll is dancing music

    by DavidWa on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Robin Trower put on a good show last night but once again the Snoqualmie Casino's Ballroom reminds me how inadequate a flat floor ballroom with folding chairs is for a show. Until the last couple of songs the whole audience was seated and any attempt to stand and dance just annoyed the people behind. Why can't venues like this provide some sort of GA area? If you are going to have seats then you should have risers. I'm not the only one discouraged about seeing an act like this in a seated venue. I love having shows in my area but if I have a chance I'll see acts farther away just so I can stand and dance when I'm rockin' At least the sound and acoustics were fine though. David
