    Robin Trower absolutely ROCKed !

    by StitchInTime on 7/7/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Robin Trower was amazing ! There are only a few true blues based strat playing guitarists anymore...Trower is one of the originals !! This is the 5th time that I've seen him, and it was probably the best. His band was awesome as well. He also performed "Victims of the Fury"....unbelieveable !

    ROBIN TROWER SHOULD RETIRE

    by mallyman on 7/6/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

He is pretty good, but needs to stop and retire. There are other guitar players that are much younger then him now, who can play circles around him. I had not seen him since 1975. Should have left the memory intact.

    Trower was amazing!!!

    by myrtle on 7/6/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

This was the first time seeing a show at the Sno. Casino Ballroom but not the first time seeing Robin Trower. We go to see him everytime he is even close to Seattle. The Ballroom was a great small venue. The show was fabulous and the sound was really good. We had great seats. I would recommend this venue to everyone.

    Trower was great!!

    by Beckster on 7/6/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

The concert was great! Not too many people and the sound was awesome. I was in the back and still was able to see most of the concert without too much problem. It's been a long time since I've been to a concert. Fifteen years! I'm hooked all over again.

    Robin Trower was a dream

    by musiccat on 7/4/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

The guitar was too big for the perfectly small ballroom at the Snoqualmie. Fabulous room, great atmosphere--perfect for Trower's dreamy guitar sound.

Trower played lots of great old stuff

    by Harpoon on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Robin played a great set. Lots of the old favorites and a few newer tunes. He is again traveling with Davey Pattison who dose a wonderful job at producing the Robin Trower sound filling in for the late James Dewer. They played songs form the early days, For Earth Below, Day of the Eagle, Little Bit of Sympathy, Hanna, Too Rolling Stoned, Victims of the Fury, Bridge of Sighs and several more. I espically enjoyed hearing Somebodys Calling from the In City Dreams album, I have always liked that one. The Snogualmie Casino is beautiful and the ballroom is a small venue to a close up experience. The sound could have been tuned better, the bass was muddy and echo was strong. The ballroom is flat and the stage only 4 foot high, so from the back it can be difficult to see. There were several very excited fans, some that had had to much to drink before the concert. I was near the back and the group behind me was the last row in front of the sound booth and they stood up and screamed like teenagers the whole concert, even though they were probably in there 40s. They kept bumping me and my chair making the concert less than perfect. Nothing was done to restain them by the casino. Most of the crowd was in their 40s or 50s and were there to hear the music so overall the crowd was good, I was just in a bad location.

A master of fine picking tecnique.

    by BubbaG71 on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Would definately reccomend to any rock fan, and especially to aspiring musicians who want to watch a master of various picking tecniques. To many modern players get caught up in nothing but speed. While speed is a fantastic thing, Robin shows speed, along with subtle picking tecniques that offer numerous emotions.

Robin Trower incredible, Snoqualmie Casino sub-par

    by jackstraw on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Robin Trower played expressively and with outstanding tone, good song mix. He is still playing extremely well with trademark textures and flowing solo work. Bassist and drummer were good, vocalist OK. But the Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom, although with good lighting and stage layout, took away from the experience. Sound was muddy, especially vocals and bass, and the folding-chair seating is on a flat floor, which makes it harder to see things on a slightly-elevated stage. When fans stood up it was even harder to see, and folks kept walking in and out for drinks throughout the concert.

    Trower was awesome

    by Rhino on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Hard to believe but Robin was even more mesmerizing on the guitar then when I first saw him in the 70"s at the Paramount inSeattle. One of the last true masters of his profession.

    Awesome Trower show

    by Klatu46 on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

The title says it all. The sound was great. The guys were tight and the venue was the best. I would recomend this show to anyone that loves strong blues-based music with the infusion of tough yet smooth rock guitar from a real pro.

    Robin Trower, another great show!

    by Masterdonb on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

This show was fantastic. The sound system was great. Robin was in true form. A guitar god! Glenn, Pete, and Dave all performed impeccably. This was the best show i have seen in years. Wow! The only downside is I could have done without having to walk to gauntlet of smokers on the casino floor. The venue should consider a private entrance to the ballroom. The seating was very tight. larger chairs would be a huge improvement.

    Robin Trower was great!

    by Chano on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Last night at the Ballroom, Snoquaimie Casino was a great show! Robin Trower is still one of the greatest. The one thing I won't forget. It was the first time in a long time that I felt I was the youngest person there. Kind of remember my first concert, when I was 12 years old and everyone there was older than me. Last night, I felt the same feeling, everyone looked older than me. But it's all cool, because we were all there to enjoy Mr Trower!

    Robin Trower still Rocks

    by SwingingRichard on 7/3/09Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Robin Trower put on an excellent show! He is physically showing his age, (aren't we all) however his guitar playing has improved like a fine red wine with age. He played most of what hard core Trower fans would like to hear and blended in many newer tunes. The venue is a perfect room for Trower, small intimate setting with fantastic acoustics, not too loud either. My ears were very grateful for this the next morning. He playing was amazing as always. The guitarist in me left inspired to play my guitar and wishing that I could get that soulful bluesy sound Robin Trower has perfected. Hope he continues to record new music and comes back to the Seattle area again to delight all of us Trower fans with his wonderful music.
