About

R&B star Robin Thicke's infectious No.1 single "Blurred Lines," from the No. 1  album of the same name, became the song of the summer of 2013, and fans who get tickets will help keep the funky momentum alive on his 2014 tour featuring Jessie J and DJ Cassidy. Thicke is a well-honed performer who's been gracing stages since he was a teen, and he's also an in-demand songwriter and producer. In concert, Thicke -- flanked by a live band and dancers, and sometimes playing the keyboards -- delivers a mix of his own songs with covers of songs popularized by some of the artists who influenced his music, including Bob Marley, Al Green, and Michael Jackson.

    Robin Thicke Concert

by Shabuta on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

I was highly disappointed with this concert. for several reasons. To begin, the concert time was 8:00, but Robin did not get on the stage until 10:00pm. The first person to get on the stage was a local artist who won a talent show. After she song, there was a group of young men perform. Then, there was a comedian that took the stage for an entire hour. Last, there was a group to sing. By this time, two hours had past and I became restless and irritated to say the least. Finally, Robin Thicke came to the stage with excitement, but it appeared as if he rushed through the songs and did not complete an entire song. I believe that she song five or six songs and did not perform longer than 30 minutes. I was and still am livid! Hands down, the worst concert ever!!!

    Voice is amazing

by Lyte on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

The show itself lacked organization and Robin did a very, very short set, only about 5 songs, that left you wanting more. However, his voice and stage presence is amazing.

The concert was good because I am a Robin Thicke fan, but it was waaaay too short. Robin only performed 7-8 songs, maybe, without his band. He was on stage for only about 30 minutes. I love Robin Thicke, but more stage time next time, please!!

    Robin Thicke was great!!!!

by Chnel5 on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

I must say that he is a great performer and a must see. He was lively performed a medley of his songs. The man is sooooooooo cute and he sound great live. The online problem was that the set was short. That is the only reason he gets four stars.

    Sex Therapy session...needed more

by MsNici on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Mr. Thicke was late, without his band and on stage for only 25 minutes. I was disappointed by the short time but a little pleased that he performed most of my favorites. I expected more. I probably would not go see him again, atleast not as a solo act.

    Disappointed in Short Show

by Skeeditic on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Robin was great for all of the 30 minutes he actually performed. I was highly upset that I paid my money to see all those opening acts to have him perform for such a short amount of time. And then the hosts saying that he was running behind schedule. Very upset after the show. We were like is that really all he's going to sing!!!Come on now!!

    Awful!

by Regret on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

This was worst and most awful concert I have ever attended!! It was very poorly organized and the host MCs were drunk! The show was to begin at 8pm and Robin Thicke didn't show up until 10pm and was off the stage at 10:25pm. He performed without a band so the music was recorded. I will never spend my hard earned money to see him or any event put on by TLS and Upscale Nitelife productions!!

The concert was billed as a concert! Not a drop in apperance, and he only performed for 26 minutes! He only performed two complete songs.

    Disappointed in Robin Thicke

by sixpoint on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

First we had to sit through 2 hours of local 'talent' (and I use that word lightly) and then Robin came on stage for what seems like all of 30 minutes!!! He has 4 albums and it seems like he only sang like 7 songs. The shortest concert EVER! I did enjoy what he did, but it was ridiculous how fast it ended. Will never go see him as a headliner again!

    Robin was smoking...

by Drreason on 2/1/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

I so enjoyed the show. He began and ended the show with such energy. And everything else I wanted was in the middle. The only thing somewhat negative I can speak to is the show was not long enough. I'd go see him again!

    Great performance

by Remon on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

He did a great job the only problem was he did not perform long enough. I think he only perform maybe 30 or 40 minutes but, it was worth it.

Thicke sounded great!! Wish he'd brought his band.

by virushunter on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Really enjoyed warm up comedian, "Dangerous D"? He was local, from Florence, MS, but has probably been around the nation since his act was hilarious. The other opening musical acts were very forgettable, except for the winning singer from Mardi Gras talent search. Her rendition of "And I'm Telling You" was point on! DJ Finesse kept the house rocking while we waited for the main attraction. Robin Thicke took the stage at 10pm...and not a moment too soon (getting a bit restless). He was fantastic!! His vocals were great and he really connected with the audience. He apologized for not bringing his band (not sure why), but went on to deliver most of his well known songs (including Sex Therapy!!). He entertained us with several songs "Unplugged"...just him singing and playing the piano...GREAT JOB, Robin!! Thanks for stopping in Jackson, MS!!

    Robin is Amazing, but.....

by TrUeFaNnUmBaOnE on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Okay, so Mr. Sexy Himself came and only performed for like 40 minutes before shooting off. I mean he was really great, don't get me wrong. But I didn't pay ~$40 a ticket just to watch some under-rated opening acts and forty-minutes of Robin.

    Less than What I expected

by DDiva47 on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

The opening acts were horrible. When Robin Thicke finally came out (after 2 hours of waiting) he did a 30 min, less than enthusiastic set and walked away. It was not worth what I spent. Overall, the entire concert was disappointing.

    20

by 47519 on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Thicke's singing was great and that was expected, but he started after 10pm and finished before 10:30pm. His 20 minute showing took a show that should have been AMAZING to poor.

    Not enough of Robin Thicke.

by Mandilayne on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

There were too many other amateur people singing and performing before robin thicke. Then we only got about thirty minutes of him. He was my only reason to attend the event so I wish I got my moneys worth out of him. He was awesome great performance but he started late and finished way too soon.

    Thicke Was Thin

by DDonald on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

This was the worst concert that I have ever attended. From the beginning to the end. It was late getting stated and ended abruptly. Thicke sang with "Canned Music" and acted eratically on stage. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

    Loved the Show!

by SweePea27 on 1/31/10Thalia Mara Hall - Jackson

Robin Thicke is AMAZING!! I am hopeful that he will return to Jackson to do a longer set...but even the abbreviated one that he gave Jackson was fun and full of energy! He is a great performer with an intoxicating voice.
