Roberto Carlos Live in Concert
Brazilian pop-rock trailblazer Roberto Carlos is known to many as "the King of Latin Music." With a career spanning more than half a century, Carlos has sold more than 140 million albums globally and is considered one of the most influential pop artists in Brazil and the world. With the help of co-writer and frequent collaborator Erasmo Carlos, Roberto Carlos has written more than three dozen Top 10-charting singles.
Born to a lower middle-class family in 1941, Carlos began playing the guitar and piano as a child. At just 9 years old, he performed for the first time at a children's show broadcast by Rádio Cachoeiro, where he won first prize and became a regular performer.
As a teenager, Carlos moved to Rio de Janeiro and formed a band originally called the Snacks, which was later renamed the Sputniks. In the late '50s, Carlos went solo and performed bossa nova in the style of Brazilian singer João Gilberto. When his first full-length album, 1961's Louco Por Você (Crazy for You), failed to achieve commercial success, Carlos switched back to rock music.
As a pop/rock musician, Carlos drew influence from then-popular American and British acts such as Little Richard, Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, and The Beatles. He eventually became the face of "Jovem Guarda" (Young Guard), which started as a TV show hosted by Carlos but eventually became a catchphrase for a Brazilian musical movement influenced by the Western midcentury rock and roll wave. Carlos' 1964 album, É Proibido Fumar, especially exemplified this upbeat sound and style, also known in Brazil as iê-iê-iê ("yeah-yeah-yeah").
In the late '60s, Carlos began to pivot his artistry to specialize more in love songs. Along with close collaborator Erasmo Carlos, Roberto Carlos penned now-famous hits such as "Detalhes," "Sua Estupidez," "Jesus Cristo," and "Debaixo dos Caracóis dos Seus Cabelos," earning him Grammy accolades and top chart placements in Latin America. Carlos' love songs became especially popular in neighboring Argentina, and by the '70s, he had become the best-selling Brazilian musician in history.
In 1988, Carlos won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance, plus several Latin Grammys in the early 2000s. In 2015, the Latin Recording Academy honored him with the prestigious Person of the Year award. In 2009, Carlos celebrated his 50th anniversary as a performer, touring through North and South America to honor the achievement alongside fans. More recently, Carlos released his 2018 Spanish-language album Amor Sin Límite, which featured duets with Jennifer Lopez ("Llegaste") and Alejandro Sanz ("Esa Mujer").

Good seats but I paid the price for those seats. Good experience
Short concert and most of songs in Portuguese. You come to Orlando where there’s people that speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. If I knew it was gonna be like that I wouldn’t have purchased the tickets.
Easy to locate the venue and easy parking with a very convenient pathway to the venue. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing spot-on directions and instructions. The concert was everything we were hoping for. Overall, it was a great night out with my better half.
Excellent musicians, an impeccable singer who gave us many years of songs in a nostalgic concert
I am brazilian and have always listened and liked Roberto Carlos. There was a brief phase of his career that I don't like (songs like Verde e Amarelo, Mulher Pequena, ...). But it is impossible not to restrain from getting emotional when he sings his big hits. I personally would like to see more songs only in Portuguese but it is understandable with the huge number of hispanic fans he has that he needs to sing the spanish versions. Anyway, he is awesome, and his orchestra can really play, and the sound system and organizationat Kia Center were great as well.
I was waiting for this event for a long time. I really enjoy it my favor singer Mr. Roberto Carlos this event was the best Thank you
Roberto Carlos is a Brazilian singer. I bought a ticket for his concert in NYC expecting to hear him singing in Portuguese. Of course, like any other singer, one or two songs in a different language is always cool. Unfortunately, Roberto Carlos's concert on June/2024 at Radio City in NYC was 99.9 % in Spanish. Roberto Carlos AND Ticketmaster should make this clear that the show had focused on Spanish fans, not Brazilians. Threw my money in the garage. Left after 30 min.

Roberto Carlos is a legend. His fans revere him. Never disappoints! With his musicians and singers all excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Maravillosa!
His voice and presentation is the best. Superb performance!
I was in the venue only 20 minutes since the show started, te does not sing anymore and he forgot the lyrics of every song, I feel like I wasted my money
Excellent performance!! Lights n sound were done very professionally
It was really impressive to hear Roberto Carlos singing all memorable songs and the audience enjoying his voice and feeling love as years ago
The whole program from beginning to end was wonderful memorable day
The chow was wonderful, the only problem was when Roberto stated to give roses., and the people that were seated in the back came to the from. Also drunk women were coming to the from to try to get his attention the entire concert and the people working there couldn’t control them.
If you have the opportunity to go and see Roberto Carlos live, I recommend 100 %
A total legend and great venue. Highly recommended.
