    Krieger Still Has It!

by Chris Kunz on 9/17/19Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

First of all, Leslie West was the warm-up act. He wasn't very good, let's leave it at that. Krieger still has it! I've seen him play live several times post-Doors and he's definitely at the top of his game. At 73 years old? Amazing. Two vocalists: Krieger's son and Paul Rothchild's son (Rothchild was producer of The Doors). Both guys were excellent. They each sang songs that played to their strengths. With the recent passing of Rick Ocasek and Eddie Money, you never know when/if you're going to see a particular legend again. I can tell you Krieger will blow you away and if you ever have the chance to see Nick Mason Saucerful of Secrets, he plays the drums like it's 1972. Krieger!!!!

by DOORS FAN on 9/17/19Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Growing up a huge Doors Fan and being too young to see them back in the 60's, This was the just such an unbelievable experience and definitely the Greatest concert I have ever gone to, and will go to see Robby Krieger anytime he comes back to the area!

    Mixed Review

by Mark from Branchburg on 9/17/19Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

I’ve seen Leslie West in the past & I’m sorry to say, this was not one of his better performances. What he played was good but he only played for 40 mins. He needed to play Mountain songs not Allman Bros songs. I didn’t care for his bass player. Robby Krieger was very good. His keyboardist was outstanding.

    Doors and more Doors

by Luke411 on 9/30/18The Space at Westbury Theater - Westbury

two hours of Doors music. Lead vocalists did not try to sound like Jim Morrison.

Doors legend rocks Indiana State Fair

by JJKANDLAK on 8/19/18Indiana State Fairgrounds - Chevrolet Free Stage - Indianapolis

Concert featured several "Doors" hits peppered in with a couple LP favorites. "Roadhouse Blues" with guest vocalist João Castilhos from Os Gringos was easily the highlight of the set as the energy level was raised to a higher standard. Band consisted of Robby on lead guitar, his son on lead vocals(except Roadhouse Blues), keyboard player, bass, and percussionist. I believe it was their lead technician/emcee who joined the band onstage with a tambourine for the rockin' "LA Woman." Lowpoint was probably the 15-20 minute version of "When The Music's Over.". Had this one on my "bucket list" for many years - good show and safe travels to the Krieger Band!

    Magical night with Robby Krieger

by gesjam on 6/19/18The Canyon Santa Clarita - Santa Clarita

I drove all way from Costa Mesa for this gig and wasn't disappointed. The band was rock solid, Waylon who is Robby's son did a great job covering all the Doors hits. He has it in his blood. They played I think 3 encores. Pure magical night!!!!

DO NOT MISS Robby Krieger's band!

by LifelongDoorsFan on 9/27/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Robby Krieger and his band FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! They were sincerely FANTASTIC!! While his son Waylon did not at first seem like the ideal candidate to sing Doors songs, his personality and style ultimately fit together with the rest of the evening perfectly. And frankly it was so cool to know that it was Robby's son jammin with his Dad all night. It doesn't get much better than that : ) I would ABSOLUTELY go see this again. And by the way, their version of LA WOMAN was EUPHORIC! No joke! It was like a big heavenly Rock-N-Roll party. I will never forget that show, that set, that night. Thank you Robby, Waylon and the rest of the band for a real celebration of the music that The Doors created.
