    the music was awesome, but....

    by rm0659 on 5/6/16Birchmere - Alexandria

...the singer was weirdly disconnected from the performance & didn't connect with the audience. you don't have to be jim morrison to sing these songs, but put at least some emotion into it - don't wear dark glasses and karaoke the words. unfortunately, i think he's robby's son - oops! the other musicians were top notch though, so that aspect was great - especially during the longer instrumental breaks. i was disappointed that the place wasn't sold out, as robby is an awesome talent, the band is really good and the doors songs are incredible.

    Awesome concert

by Jimbomo on 5/6/16Birchmere - Alexandria

It was all that I expected and more from an icon of the classic rock scene. His guitar playing was fantastic. I wish that they played again the next night because I would go to see them again. The group played together with great harmony.

to meet a man who knew Jim Morrison !!

by dmgIII on 3/29/16VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas City

This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. These classic artists are dwindling. I was in awe knowing he played with Jim Morrison. He rocked. His son played the part of Jim. Way to keep it in the family. LOVED the show

Robby Krieger is still a great guitar player. He is a great entertainer and I'd recommend seeing him to anyone!

Felt a lot like being back in late 60's L.A.

by 913rocker on 3/27/16VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas City

The next best thing to watching The Doors live in L.A. in the late 60's, because this is a living part of the original Doors and the sound was so true. Robby's son Waylon did a more than acceptable job at lead vocals. No one can replace Jim Morrison, of course. Awesome!

Robby Krieger and Band Play Doors Classics

by NecroNomicon on 8/17/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Very good show at a great venue. Robby was in good form and the band as a whole seemed to enjoy the show. A little confusion when the singer (Robby's son) told everybody they could stand up, come up to the stage and watch and dance from there. Soon, however, the ushers were coming through trying to make everybody sit back down. Good mix of popular songs and deeper cuts.

    The Doors without Morrison...

by Jax888 on 8/17/15Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Skeptical going in, NOT skeptical going out! Robbie and the boys put on a good show. for a 70(?) yr old, Robbie's fingers were still flying. The only regret was that there wasn't enough time! Haha! The Doors had a LOT of great songs! They did a bass/drum jam for about 5-10 minutes...thought that was a little strange for a Doors show! All-in-all, a darn good night!
