I didnt do any of the Pit Party so i cant comment on how that was but the racing was GREAT! Tons of crazy wrecks and flips. The track design was great as well, there was split lane options in one part of the course to give the driver 2 lanes to choose from. Also places where the track cut under 2 jumps, so at times a truck would be jumping over another.
All the classes were exciting, buggies pushing on each other, trying to duck under or shove each other out of the way or getting high sided on the peak of a jump. The trophy trucks had just as much excitement and carnage. The fun classes was these lil trophy carts. They looked like ATV's with truck bodies over them, but they were driven by kids from 8-13. You didnt even know they were kids, they drove balls out juts like the pro's. Finally there was the monster trucks. they raced on the same course at the pro trophy trucks, which was fun and different because it wasnt just the usual, jump over a few sets of cars, do a u-turn and do it again, then done. They raced the exact same course as the trucks. So they to got to hit the long gap jumps and jump over each other as they raced.
Overall very exciting, not alot of filler between races, which i prefer. NO boring video's or interviews that your not interested in just to fill time. There was more just quiet down time for you to talk to your company at a normal level or get food.
So if you remember back in the day, going to the Mickey Thompson series, this is just as you remember it but even better. The trucks are faster, more powerful, they have the buggy class just as you remember and the addition of monster trucks actually racing the same course.
Great for the kids as well as adults!!! Oh if you get there about 2 hours early, you can go down to the floor and walk the track.
