Only bad thing was, I bought a VIP ticket and the TICKETMASTER app of my ticket purchased said General Admission. I had to show my receipt via my email to show them I purchased a VIP ticket. Other than that, it was excellent.
The fact that there were 5 DJs made me think we would get a variety of hits. But they kept repeating the same songs. There are literally thousands of songs that could have gotten some play and I kept hearing the same ones. It was quite annoying. Then all the smoke made the environment very uncomfortable. Everyone isn't a smoker and does not want to be exposed to that all night. The music they did play was cool, but the event definitely needs some work. If I'm being honest, I probably won't go to another one.
As a first timer, it’s was a great experience. My only complaint is the fact I heard Young Money-Every Girl at least 5 times. The playlist could’ve been better however it’s was still a great experience.
I feel like an R&B Block Party veteran at this point. It's a great event filled with black excellence. Great crowd and Atmosphere. The only issue I have is the DJ's sets are overlapping each other with the same songs. There were 4 or 5 songs that was played by 3 or 4 DJ's and it's tough because they may not be in the building to hear what DJ's played prior to them. Plus, I think the crowd is focused on songs they know Dj's are hesistant to try certain songs so they play it safe. At the end of the day, as long as they offer the early bird packages I will find a way to be in there when these events come by.
Not a fight or disagreement all night. We truly came together as a culture. We Are One!!! Dress comfortable, and drink plenty of water...😂😂😂
Fun is an understatement. Mature crowd. No drama. Good Vibes. Drinks was ridiculously expensive. But overall a great experience
I had so much fun the vibe was next level the Dj's on point everyone had a good time
Great event, but needed more workers to control the line for drinks to prevent cutting and wait times
R&B Block Party was LITTTTTT🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Can't wait til it get warm so it can be back outside......I REALLY enjoyed myself as well as my friends who came from OT to come Party with Us
It was not what I thought, I am not a smoker and it was people smoking some of everything everywhere in that building. I couldn't breathe. Me and my man left early because I couldn't take it. I don't feel like people should have been able to smoke in an enclosed event space. If it was an open roof stadium then okay. It did not say anything about people being allowed to smoke in there either. I did not enjoy myself.
Great crowd , Fantastic DJ'S Danced all night. Can't wait for the next one.
The event was great. I enjoyed myself other than them High tail drinks, but other than that I had a ball

I’m SO Brooklyn & R n B!!! This was such a DOPE event. It will forever be a must attend for me!! The DJ’s pure FIRE 🔥…… I will say the drinks are well overpriced and the crowd was all a perfect blend of old and new school.
This was my second one that I’ve attended which was back in sept so we were outside and I truely enjoyed myself however let me tell you the inside the inside was lit, you the had the crowd rocking.. it felt like a lit club night with the girls. Great vibes all around . I had a blast. I’d say that the only downside would be once you got to a certain point in stands the music became a little muffled however that didn’t stop the fun keep it coming
The venue was way too big. The sound of the people talking was louder than the music. It had more of a concert vibe instead of an actual party. It looked like a DJ warming the crowd up for an artist to perform. Also the drink prices were way too expensive. 44 dollars for a double shot. I will not return to this event. I was also persuaded not to go to this event due to bad reviews from the previous event. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt
This was really a nice block party. I loved the R&B music they played. I hope they do another one next month.
Me and my fiancé went we really enjoyed ourselves no drama nothing crazy happened! Fun lit will love to go again !!!
The sound system sucked!! You only had one job!! We were there to listen to music! I barely heard anything!!
