RISE AGAINST IN CONCERT: DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO SEE RISE AGAINST ON TOUR IN 2017

Chicago rockers Rise Against combine passionate political messages with no-holds-barred rock aggression.  At their live shows the band performs hard-hitting anthems like "Savior" and "Re-Education (Through Labor)” against a backdrop of swirling lights and bold visuals that perfectly complement their frenetic onstage energy. Front man Tim McIlrath cuts a commanding figure on stage, holding the crowd in the palm of his hand as he leads the band through salvos about everything from politics and the environment to animal rights and vegetarianism. Prepare to witness plenty of fans head banging and rocking out as the band tears through marathon sets of their forceful yet catchy-as-heck songs on tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

After 16 years and six incendiary albums, Rise Against has become one of the most successful, challenging, and revered punk rock bands on the planet. Rise Against have sold four million albums globally across their last four releases, with 2011's Endgame debuting at No. 1 in Germany and Canada and No. 2 in the U.S. Their sixth album The Black Market was released in September 2014 via Interscope Records and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

    Rancid Rocks

by Tacklebox on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Rancid was great. They put on one hell of a show. Rise Against did just as well. That Billy Talent guy wasn't so hot. The group I was with and I all agreed that they didn't belong with the rest of the bands. But other than that it was a great show.

    Almost Amazing

by RancidFan on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Billy Talent was much better than I expected. Honestly I hadn't listened to that much of their music before but it was so much fun that this show really turned me on to them. Rancid was awesome as well. Pretty much legendary. The crowd was crazy and there was so much energy that everyone was having a good time. After being around for such a long time im suprised they still sound so good. Rise Against actually wasn't that great. They had a lot of energy and the crowd was really pumped but they didn't sound that good. Honestly we left before they were done. Rancid and Billy Talent definately made it worth it to go however!

by GFunk on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

I'm not a huge fan of Rancid or Billy Talent...they gave me a headache actually, and I was a little bored...but Rise Against totally made up for it! My headache even went away when they got on stage! :-) They rocked!!!

    Overall good

by Neonkat on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Billy Talent was surprisingly good, though the venue did no favors for the singer's slighty screechy voice. Rancid was disappointing, being almost intolerably loud. Rise Against was by far the best performance of the night. I have some real issues with the venue though, sound quality heavily favors the bass and drums, practically drowning out much of the guitar and vocals. Also - WaMu Theater is FREEZING cold, so if you're heading there, and not planning to pogo/mosh/dance, bring a jacket!

Rise Against blew our faces off!

by Dano on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

The show was kicked off by Canada's own Billy Talent. They surged onto the stage with so much energy and got the crowd pumped. They were followed by the world famous Rancid - who pleased the crowd with their upbeat punk rock sound. Then... it was Rise Against. A rhythmic light show was added s my R.A. started playing to bring that much more epic-ness to the performance. With a variety of songs from their newest album (Appeal to Reason [2009]) to their oldest works ("Everchanging" off of The Unraveling album [2001], Rise Against pleased all of their fans.

    Epic Triple Threat

    by wmhart487 on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

I saw the last Rise Against tour in Seattle w/ Billy Talent and they performed even better than before. All 3 bands are very engaging and truly know how to entertain and reach the audience. This was the best concert I've been to! WAMU Theater was a great venue as well!

    Awesome show

by Gripped on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Seeing Rise Against w/ Rancid was by far the best show I've seen. Forget about stupid light shows, visuals and lameass effects to take focus off the performers...Rise Against and Rancid tore it up!!!! Just RAW, in your face performance. I can't say enough. If you've never seen these two, they know how to perform. Rancid was seamless in their song transitions, Rise Against were just perfect all around and both just brought the crowd to fists in the air, jumping, singing and body surfing. Billy Talent was rockin hard as well, although not my cup o' tea, those guys rock pretty damn hard.

    Rancid was awesome!!!

    by JD48 on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

I had never heard of Billy Talent before, but will definately be seeing them again on their next tour. Rancid was amazing, I was really happy they played alot of their old songs. Rise Against was a little disappointing. Alot of their songs sounded the same the only way to know it was a different song, was the long pause in between.

    Simply phenomenal

by HappyListener on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Billy Talent and Rise Against were as good live as they have been in any CD, but Rancid in comparison kind of disappointed me. Even so, it was an awesome show that everyone should see given the opportunity.

RISE AGAINST W/RANCID and BILLY TALENT

by CrazyE on 7/7/09WaMu Theater - Seattle

Insane concert, great onstage performances, and the crowd was wild. One of the best concerts I have been to in awhile. On the Down side it was a huge theater and sound direction was a bit iffy especially if you were c lose to the front, and beers were $8.25 but, overall I would go back in a heartbeat.
