I bought the tickets for my kids. These are their comments. I felt it was great. I really enjoyed the animals especially the white tigers. I enjoyed all of it. It was exciting and really kept us on the edge of our seats.
Everything about the show was awesome! We loved the dogs, zebras, horses, tigers, and elephant's tricks. The acrobats, tightrope walkers, and the men on the moving wheels were amazing! It was cool to see the women shoot out of the cannon. The only thing we would have liked to change is to see more of the motorcycle.
I have been taking my five grandchildren & 1 daughter to the circus for 8 straight years, We always new the red circus would not be of the same caliber of the blue but it was okay, This zing zang zoom was horrible. I had two of my grandkids say they were bored & wanted to go home mid way thru the circus. Having spent $400 between tickets ($25.00 each plus drinks plus souveniers, I really am very disappointed. We knew already that without Bello, we might be looking at something similar to the red circus, wow what a disappointment. when this years circus was a total flop as far as we are concerned. The clowns were the main focus of the circus & they were not very well trained, in fact they were awful. This was a group aged 6 to 15 plus 2 adults aged 42 & 66. We all were under the same idea.The perfomances that Bello appeared in were the best by far. . If the circus doesn't get better, this year will be the end of our family tradition of grandma taking the grandkids to the circus. Thank you for hearing me out. I guess the worst part is the fact this has been a cherished family tradition for me to take my grandkids (who live anywhere from next door to 7 hours away. They come to spend time at Grandma & Grandpa's house every summer for 3 weeks with the circus being the highlight of their trip, We may have to begin a new tradition.
My daughter had the best time of her life. When she talks about the show her face is just beaming!!! This show was worth every penny!
This was the first time we took my son who is 5 to the circus. We have taken my 8 year old daughter many times before. We all had a great time. I would recommend it to anyone, young or old.
the show was ok, seeing the peta protesters outside, and becoming aware of the seemingly harsh realities the circus animals face made me feel a little guilty about supporting the circus, but my ticket was already paid for, so i might as well have watched the show and drawn my own conclusions. in the end, i could see how the animals could be mistreated, but the show was ok.
Overall it was pretty good. The sound system however was not up to par. It was very hard to hear what was being said by the different characters. I don't know if this was an arena problem or a Barnum & Bailey problem. The most exciting part of the show was towards the end where two guys were walking, jumping and flipping around on these giant rotating, spinning metal balance things. A couple times each guy nearly lost it and had they fallen, would have likely sustained serious injury as there was no safety line on this stunt. They would slip up yet still have the balls to continue. Very awesome!
Took my Grand kids and Great Grand kids to the most entertaining event we have ever been to. The quality of presentation and entertainers was superb. The animals used were in great condition and well groomed.
I enjoyed the entire show. It was my first time to this type of show and it was great. I would have liked to have had a better view of the animals before the show. They were to far from us in their cages (all of them). Maybe we could get closer if the trainers and staff supervised at the front of the cages. That would have made it awesome.
Great magic tricks (Copperfield quality). Lots of singing & dancing w/ clowns & animals. Very good acrobatics & small orchestra did all music & sound effects. As with all events like this, the concessions were up there in price. In general, excellent choreography & show for everyone!
We started taking our kids to the circus three years ago - and have never been let down once. This show is wonderful. It's different every year and we are amazed anew each time we go. It is everything you could want in a fun night of entertainment. They cram so much great stuff into the two-and-a-half hour show. I highly recommend this show for all kids and kids at heart. Might be a little long for really young kids though.
I cannot wait to go next year! The acts and animals were amazing and every seat was a great seat! Thanks =)
I have to tell you, this show is a wonderful experience for every child who is a child at heart. My kids had a blast! I have a 16month old and a 6year old, and the best parts of the show for me was watching their eyes light up; their face show astonishment; their smiles melting my heart. The youngest was clapping so enthusiastically! She was really into the event! The 6yr old enjoyed the daring stuff like the huge elephants and the tigers! I have to admit the tigers were my favorite part too! With my weird since of humor, I had to laugh out loud everytime it looked like the tiger was trying to get back at the trainer! This one tiger, everytime the trainer turned around, it would whip his claw out at his back as though to talk back to the trainer! It was a riot!! The tight rope walkers were very very talented though! They were the only performers, I noticed, that did stunts so high up without rope support! They were dancing across that thing, doing the cumbia, riding bikes, everything! All in all it was a great show, and the food, for the first time in Selland Arena, was very economical! Everything was five bucks or below, unless you try to get souvenior drinks. Those cups ranged from $10 to $15 bucks. Go! Have a great time! The kids will love you for it. As parents we know, when their happy....we can relax!! =)
Overall the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus is as usuall awsome!!!! We have been going every year for 4 years straight. Unfortunately we were bummed out that this year they left out the motorcycles inside the sphere event. And the elephants walking over the girls as they laid on the floor. We were looking forward to seeing that since we took new guest and we had told them about it. Overall as ussual the tiger show was awsome and the best of all. AZZUCAR!!!! To my latino friend and his tigers....Viva La Raza!!!
I think the magic concept went great with the show, and, unless you've seen to many episodes of magic biggest secrets finally revealed, the tricks will amaze you. and the story line with the evil not so evil gravity lead to some great gags. This year the lions, tigers, and big cats in general really stood out for me, as well as the charasmatic and funny lion tamer.
The show was great, and seats were fantastic...was helped over the phone in purchasing, and best seats for price. We went last year as well, and this was even better- very impressed with all the acrobatics, humor, animals. The whole gang loved it!
The circus had all the bells and whistles. It was fast moving, entertaining, and well paced.
I had not been to the circus since I was a small child and I went back for the first time last year and again this year, and it is still as great as I remembered it. My favorite part of the show was the dog act, the acrobats, the girls that were shot from the canon, actually, I enjoyed the whole show. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to spend a nice evening with their family.
We had a blast. My daughter had the time of her life. The show was great.
My 4 year old was completly amazed with this show. There is so much to see that you cant see everything. This show is for kids of all ages!!
