We have been going to this event every year for the last 6 years. As always, it is a great show for kids and adults.
Took kids and grandkids to the Barnum and Bailey circus in Pittsburgh. We have been to many B & B circuses and really enjoyed them. This one was by far the worse circus I've seen. If you like dancers waving ribbons then you'll like this one because those acts made up the bulk of the show. Very weak and few acrobatic acts. No grand finale at the end with the entire circus parading like usual. Prices were through the roof.....I've never paid $12 for cotton candy! All in all a very disappointing show!
They lived up to the slogan "Greatest Show On Earth". The show was awesome!!!! It kept moving the entire time.
I usually think of circus as mostly visual. perhaps some well timed drum rolls etc. The Constant thumping of the music was distracting. It was too influenced by amelodic rap. I used ear plugs and it was still too loud. Elephants, Dogs, and Tigers were Great! Horses were so-so Could do without the "magic" stuff . I realize it is for a distraction while setting up between acts. find other sistractions Acrobatics and high wire were fine if one ignored the music.
the title says it all. i had goosebumps throughout the whole show. it was a thrill of excitement for my whole family. we will always go back for more every year it comes to pittsburgh. i am a barlem and bailey fan for life.
Took my wife and 2 kids Friday night.. It was a great show and the preshow was a lot of fun as well.. Definately worth going to see!
The show was great and my kids, brother and his family had an awesome time.
Event was very kid friendly. The souvenirs were extremely over priced. All in all the old circus format was almost completely missing.
My dad took my 2 children, girl 11 and boy 7, to the friday night show. The 11 year old was a little reluctant to go but wanted to spend time with Pap Pap. She texted me during show and said it was awesome. After answering her text she got back to me saying" yes, yes it's cool. Gotta go I'm watchin"
kids loved it! - It was very entertaining even though we missed the part in the rafters, our seats were too high and the rafters were actually below us.
Our family goes every year to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey Circus. It is a wonderful event for the entire family. Our children look forward to it each and every year and they put on a different show each year so you can go over and over again. I highly recommend this event for all ages.
This was an excellent show. Some of the magic was unbelievable. My kids really enjoyed the show. We had great seats, so that probably added to it.
This was a great night for my 19 month old and a fun night for my wife and I. This is much different than when I was a kid. It was entertaining for all!
not as good as in past years...too much showy stuff like we were in vegas watching a vegas act. whole new group of extras and clowns what happened to our favorite clowns that are there every year? shorter show this time too. it was so empty that they moved the entire section 200's down to better seats in 100's
This was our grandson's first experience with a circus. I was worried that the clowns would frighten him, but was happy to see that their make-up was more kid friendly. Even the bad guy, Mr. Gravity, was kid friendly.
i really like it except not enough shows with the animals they were nto short and to much dancing and actrobatic...
My sons 3rd birthday fell on the night of the show. Last year we saw the vip seats and the tram ride in the ring...so this year we spent the extra money for a very special day. We had front and center seats in celebrity seating..I thought we had the best of the best..so the $300+ price tag was worth it. The "special" seating turned out to be bleacher seats at the end of the ring...actually worse than our original seats. Celebrity seating was described as premium, clowns will pull you from your seat and make you part of the action and Circus Celebrity tram on the arena floor, because its no longer a show, its an experience....nothing even close to the description. My son didnt sit in his seat once, laughing, screaming, dancing..not 1 clown paid any attention to him. The ring master didnt once acknowledge him. The price tag for the evening was "OVER THE TOP"
delightful and entertaining show... colorful sums it up in one word.
The kids loved the show. There are 7 (kids aged 10 years to 10 months) in our family and everybody had a great time. The costumes were beautiful and there was something exciting and entertaining going on the entire time. There was so much going on that I felt I needed to see it twice to really grasp everything!
