From beginning to end, they were funny, the harmonies were wonderful, the songs were great choices, the music was awesome. They are not only good singers, but great on their instruments! I would attend another one of their shows in a heartbeat!

Riders in the Sky presented a wonderful program with the perfect mix of old and new songs, adding just the right touch of humor. Can't wait to have them return to Knoxville so we can see them again!

  • Riders in the Sky Never Disappoint

    by Susan H on 1/23/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

These guys put on a simple yet outstanding show. They are all excellent musicians. Keep a watch on Joey the Cow Polka King. He’s the quietest of the group but has a fantastic singing voice. After the show, hang around and visit Too Slims Mercantile. The guys will autograph your purchase and pose for photos. This show is the very definition of wholesome family entertainment.

A must-see for anyone who grew up watching Roy Rogers and other singing cowboys, or fans of the Western half of C&W Music. Great music, harmonies and humor perfectly blended into an unforgettable show.

  • Always a wonderful show

by Cactus Bob on 1/23/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Thanks for coming to the Bijou. Knoxville is not a hot spot for Western Music but the crowd loved it! The new music was terrific and we always enjoy our favorite standards. Nice touch doing the sound for the the Oscar winning animated short...For the Birds! We are fans of Riders for 30 years and each and every show has been a hoot! Looking forward see them again.

  • Great Show, even greater guys!!

    by dogmom1968 on 1/23/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We had balcony seats, and had a perfect view of the show. The performance was amazing, and meeting the guys after the show and seeing how personable and friendly they were made the experience even more wonderful. We will see them again if they make it to Knoxville again!

  • America's Favorite Cowboys - Still amazing after 41 years!

    by B. L. on 6/3/19The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent blend of old favorites, nostalgic classics we listened to as kids, and new and original music we'll want to add to the collection! Their jokes are still fresh and funny, and the music is, as always, amazing. Thank you Riders In the Sky!

by Steveeee D on 6/2/19The Egyptian Theatre - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

In one word....AMAZING!.....after 41 years of touring, the Riders are still out there spreading the good word of the singing cowboy. Don't pass up an opportunity to check them out if they are anywhere near your camp, this was the 4th time in 30 years I've had the chance to catch their show and I wasn't disappointed! The "Cowboy Way" (force) is strong in these cowpokes! Long live the Yodeling cowboy!

  • Riders in the Sky was fantastic.

by Buzzfeldspar on 6/26/18Deadwood Mountain Grand - DeadwoodRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen them years ago at the Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls and they were great. They were probably even better here. They were funny, they are great musicians, and really play to the crowd. I like how they sign autographs after the show and and visit with their fans.

  • Riders in the Sky was great!!

I was probably the youngest person there, (24), but they were great and my husband really enjoyed the show!

  • The Riders in the Sky are the BEST!

by KittyMomma on 3/28/18Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

The Riders in the Sky are the best! My husband and I have seen their show three times now and we've enjoyed it each and every time. Their cowboy campfire music is great and their jokes and antics are funny. They are so entertaining -- I highly recommend everyone see the show if they get a chance!

  • Still riding high

by HorseGroomer on 3/28/18Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 2 out of 5

The Riders in the Sky(they are 5 star or more) are on their 40 year anniversary tour. I have been a fan since the late 1980s. Have seen shows every couple of years since then. In this performance they seem to have reached a new level. Better than I remember them from past years. Some of the classic bits still seem fresh and the new material, songs, skits, and general comments are right on, but then that is what we expect, "The Cowboy Way." Happy Trails to them and all fans. "May the horse be with you." The Birchmere is a fine music venue but has dropped as a food establishment. Now charging for water, increased the menu prices and offering less appealing dishes. Some of the old favorites are gone. List price of tickets is upped 50% with added fees.

  • Fun Night!

by PurplePancakeGirl on 2/21/18Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

Very entertaining! They may have done their show thousands of times but their absolute love for what they do still shines through! Fabulous musicians and great harmonies - excellent song choices. Enjoyed the witty repartee in-between songs. Loved all the fiddle action!!! A show you can take all family members to and have a great time. The venue is FANTASTIC. We enjoyed the evening immensely.
