Seminal Shoegaze legends RIDE return to Australia and New Zealand for their first headline tour in over 25 years!
Forming in Oxford, England in 1988, RIDE set the blueprint for the shoegaze scene with the release of their landmark debut album ‘Nowhere’- a timeless classic which spurred the emergence of a new generation of psychedelic bands to follow.
Fast forward to 2019, RIDE return with their highly anticipated sixth studio album ‘This Is Not A Safe Place’ due out August 16th via Inertia. The album’s first single ‘Future Love’ features their trademark kaleidoscopic wall of sound and is what Andy Bell describes as “a song about the beginning of a relationship, when everything feels possible.”
Comprised of Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Loz Colbert, and Steve Queralt, RIDE have sold out headline tours around the world to a plethora of critical acclaim.

Ride was as good as I had hoped they'd be. The set dragged for a song or two, but not for long. Drive blind kicked butt, taste was very good... A very good show, just short of mind blowing.
I waited over 15 years to see Ride tour again. With high expectations, the band exceeded them. Amazing performance. Truly underrated band. Great set list, remarkable musicians. An awesome show.

Ride was at the forefront of the late 80's, early 90's shoegaze scene. Haven't played together in 20 years but they have that old magic. An epic performance. Hope to see new material soon
What makes this reunion exceptional is that they sound as tight and energetic as they did 2 decades ago. They didn't hold back, their sound aged very little (though us fans did, unfortunately) and every note was honest. Gardener and Bell, thank-you. If you ever liked Ride, don't hesitate to pick up tickets. Really worth it.
Such a great performance! Ride's music is best heard live and they sounded fantastic.
These guys are still in fine form. All you kiddos out there should check them out! Tight set at a great outdoor venue on a gorgeous evening on the San Diego bay.
