About

Just Mustard on Tour

The ghoulish and melancholy sound of Just Mustard reverberates through the core of the Irish rock band. Just Mustard's genre of music falls under the post-punk, trip-hop and shoegaze umbrella. Their 2022 European tour comes on the heels of the release of their second album, 2022's Heart Under. The 26-stop tour will see them making appearances in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland. The band's lineup consists of lead singer Katie Ball, bassist Rob Clarke, guitarists David Noonan and Mete Kalyon, and drummer Shane Maguire. The unique and brooding sound of Just Mustard is a must-hear for all fans of the avant-garde and indie-rock genre. Their 2018 debut album, Wednesday, was released under the Dundalk-based label Pizza Pizza Records. This album contains the popular tracks "Boo," "Pigs" and "Deaf." Just Mustard released their 2022 album Heart Under through Partisan Records. The mystifying 10-song album features the tracks "23," "I Am You" and "Mirrors."

Just Mustard Live in Concert

Forming in Dundalk, Ireland, in 2015, Just Mustard was without a permanent drummer. After adding drummer Shane Maguire in 2017, the now quintet's first album, Wednesday, sold out their initial 300 copies. The four primary band members were all in the same circle of friends and initially bonded over their love for Radiohead, Hans Zimmer and Sonic Youth. David Noonan, one of the band's guitarists, has noted that the band was inspired by a wide variety of artists such as Aphex Twins, Joy Division, Radiohead, Portishead, and David Lynch. The band toured the United States with Fontaines D.C. in early 2022, and the band's songs "Deaf" and "Frank" have more than 2.3 million combined streams, while the band maintains an impressive 80,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
