About

Rick Ross on Tour

When performing, the boss of Miami trades his unassailable cool for shouting and sweat. Stalking the stage in sunglasses, Ross performs hit after hit, touching on solo tunes like "Hustlin'" and "B.M.F.," which helped transform modern hip-hop, to the collabs he's done with Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Ace Hood and Skrillex. A rap superstar, Rick Ross has performed at Rolling Loud, Wireless Festival, Made in America, OVO Fest and at gigs across Europe and Africa. In 2011 he toured as part of Lil Wayne's I Am Music II tour and in 2019 headlined his own Port of Miami 2 tour.

Rick Ross in Concert

A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. Raised in Carol City, Florida, the artist born William Leonard Roberts II was writing and performing rhymes as early as junior high but ultimately shined as a high school football star. Working with Miami indie label Slip-N-Slide Records, he emerged as Rick Ross in 2002. After then signing to Def Jam, he became an ambassador of trap music with his bold single "Hustlin'" and platinum-certified debut Port of Miami in 2006. Ross would ultimately record with a who's who of hip-hop — Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj — and remain a consistent, bosslike presence through more than a decade of evolving hip-hop trends. His Maybach Music Group imprint helped exploding rappers like Meek Mill, Wale, French Montana and Gunplay. In 2016, he would even take a small detour into EDM with "Purple Lamborghini," a Skrillex collaboration that became the lead track on the soundtrack to Suicide Squad. In 2019, Ross released his 10th album, Port of Miami 2, also the 10th record in a row to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.

The whole show was dope from the openers from Hartford,ct to jezzy & Ross. I’m from new haven so to Hartford ct put on like that was already a vibe. Jezzy started with thug motivation 101 and after that it was up. The whole show from start to finish was lit i lost my voice screaming ever song and lyric. Good times for my bestfran (bestfriend) birthday. Happy birthday Vanessa from Bloomfield !!

Me and my cousin had a wonderful time at the Rick Ross & Jeezy show. We had seen Ross before in a smaller venue and this was the first time getting to see Jeezy. They did not disappoint we loved it. Can’t wait to see them again.

The concert was amazing but I wish the acts had more time on the stage. It went back so fast. Besides that I enjoy It.

by Wendigo on 3/15/22Big Night Live - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The club was packed, had great energy, and in all honesty I was only expecting a club appearance from Rick Ross but instead got a full on concert from local artists and Ross himself and he showed out! The drinks were super expensive so pregame before you go and have a ball.

  • Waste of time

Unfortunately Rick Ross didn’t come on until 40 min before the concert was over. Wish this was more clearly stated prior to buying tickets. The first 3 hours of the concert was just some guy playing his iPod.

  • Room for improvement

by Bri on 3/15/22Big Night Live - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

For the first 2-3 hrs they was playing throwback R&B/Hip Hop. When Rick Ross finally comes out, his performance was no more than 45 minutes long. He did put on a good show I must say. It was just short

Good to finally get out of the house and enjoy a concert. Arena was packed, sound was premium, and energy was top notch. My only regret was that Fabolous did not show up. Everyone else put on a show and made me look forward to the next major hip hop concert that comes to Detroit.

by Adorable One on 2/25/22Little Caesars Arena - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I showed up at the concert with a broken foot but still ready to hav fun! I was celebrating my bday with my fam. I made no prior arrangements but that did not stop the crew of Little Caesars Arena from arranging my travel by wheelchair anywhere and all around the arena! They were so nice e and accommodating....it really really touched me! I had a ball and that took so much stress off me bcz of my mobility disadvantage. I’m so greatful! Thank you! Jezzy & Trina were my favorites!
