The show started almost 3 hours late

by Vibs on 7/14/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

We got there by 7:30, and the show didn't even start till 10. The show organization was extremely poor.

    Richard Cheese was offensive.

by BuddaLove on 7/14/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

I don’t care with the racial make-up of the audience was, as an African-American person, Richard Cheese’s explicit, repeated and frequent use of the “N” word was offensive and traumatic. I will never attend another one of his shows and I honestly regret choosing to go to this one

    Hillarious

by Melissa123 on 7/14/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

Richard Cheese was a night filled with music, comedy, and fun. Richard Cheese interacted with the crowd well and was something I have not seen an entertainer do this before. He even went up to the balcony to interact with the crowd and perform. He also gave out free items from his website, items like the "I Love Dick" thong and CD's. He played all the popular songs from his CD's. His ste was long, but enjoyable (Longer than I expected). He said he would like to come back in September. He is a true entertainer. His band was also awesome. They play together and off each other well. He is a must see and I will definatly see him again.

    Great Show

by DigitalVirtuoso on 7/14/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

Very entertaining, it is a shame they won't be around much longer. RC said they would be back in Houston for one last show because our crowd was so awesome. I hope he lives up to that promise!

    Richard Cheese was HILARIOUS!

by Phoenix1429 on 7/14/09House of Blues Houston - Houston

He was so funny, and had great stage-presence! I loved how much he involved the audience in the show, and he had music from a variety of genres. We had a blast! (Though I wouldn't recommend it for youngsters or those easily offended - it was definitely explicit.)

Richard Cheese - Not for the kiddies

by Scot813 on 7/13/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I attended Richard Cheese at the House of Blues Anaheim. The show was very good and quite entertaining...for adults. It was billed as an all ages show and, like an idiot, I brought two of my kids. That was a mistake. I spent the next week having talks with them I had hoped to put off until they started high school. Had the kids not been there, I would have given the show 5 stars. The crowd, for the most part, was filled with morally corrupted drunks, which are my kind of people. Highly recommended ADULT entertainment.

    Time to Pack It In

by Ace88 on 7/13/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Well, Dick used to swing hard, but his interest and enthusiasm definitely is gone. We saw him before the show and tried to say Hi, but he completely ignored us, and the show was flat, to say the least. There wasn't even a spot on him during the show. Thanks for the memories...

    Surprisingly hilarious

by TheKnechtion on 7/13/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I really didn't know what to expect with Dick but he had a great show. His keyboardist Bobby is ridiculously good. Girls only in the front row. Highly recommended for a good laugh.

I went to this event with minimum expectations and was truly blown away. Richard Cheese and his lounge band are absolutely hysterical! He is a great singer, comedian, and all around off-the-cuff entertainer. They loved the crowd and the crowd loved them back.

    Cheese in the Burg

by okieny on 7/8/09Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn

This was the third time I've seen Richard Cheese, and by far the best. The Music Hall of Williamsburg is now my favorite music venue in the city. At first I was really bummed because it was a seated concert - first come, first serve as far as where you got to sit. But since the venue is so small, even at the very back, I was closer than being in the middle of most of the other floors around town. The show itself was great. Richard Cheese was on last night. He did a lot of the same schtick I'd seen before, but he was much more involved with the audience and was hilarious with his quick banter. The dude is just funny. If you haven't seen them live, please do yourself a favor and go.
