More Richard Cheese Please - in Orlando

by bigtrain on 2/9/16House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine always put on a great show. They are always combing new musical hits and old favorites in their own very unique style. They are masters of setting a fun atmosphere for the entire crowd. Last Friday was the first performance my fiancé attended with me. She went in skeptical and now wants to book them to play at our wedding.

Always an awesome show, even being PG rated it's still a blast. He cuts out certain words for the PG shows and replaces them with a clown horn which is actually rather hilarious.

Didnt go out with a bang

by shawnto on 4/27/15Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

Was glad the Cheese decided to visit Atlanta again. And the show is always funny. But I paid 3 times extra for gold level seats because its front row and you got a signed poster or picture with purchase. Then a month later it was revised not a signed anything just a cd. Well I can buy a cd at his shows for 5 dollars. But was still fine with that figured I would get a signature at the end and a meet and greet. Well he canceled the meet and greet and signed nothing. So in the end not the final way I wanted to see his concert in Atlanta.

    Wonderfully Cheesy

by BongoMatic2000 on 4/27/15Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

Just discovered the Cheesy One so all was new to me. Great players, fun concept, perfectly executed. Great show, his target demographic is a little younger than baby boomers so about a third of the tunes weren't familiar to me. However, the lyrics for most of the rap stuff are so absurd that there's still a gag there even if the song is unfamiliar. On the flip side, having grown up watching all the lounge acts do their Mike Douglas, Carson and other talk show appearances I felt right at home with Mr. Cheese and had a blast. Imagine a Spinal Tap version of The Rat Pack meets Wayne Newton meets Vic Damone. Hats off his fine jazz trio, would love to hear them playing it straight.

    Richard Cheese was hilarious!

by Hbnerd on 3/24/15Club Madrid at Sunset Station Hotel & Casino - Henderson

This show, if you've never been to one, is unique. Richard Cheese is a talented singer, extremely sarcastically funny comedian, and his band, Lounge Against the Machine is incredible. I laughed and laughed. There wasn't a song I didn't know, but since the lyrics are done "lounge style", I found myself saying, "oh, that's what the lyrics to that song are". From Iggy Azalea to Sublime, he covers just about every kind of rock music genre. He makes it funny and raunchy. From picking on those folks that just couldn't put their phones down, to the guy in the hat that refused to remove it, walking through the audience taking selfies, throwing tee shirts, and making everyone in the front row blow bubbles, it's an interactive show that you really don't want to end! Absolutely LOVED it!

    all about the Cheese!

by DangerD72 on 3/24/15Club Madrid at Sunset Station Hotel & Casino - Henderson

What better show to see in Vegas then the greatest lounge singer ever? A group of us went for a birthday celebration and we had a blast! All our favorite songs performed in a swanky humorous style....even the late great Eazy-E was represented! If you ever have the chance to check them out do yourself a favor and go!

by mshippiechick52 on 7/15/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

Richard Cheese is by far the best performer out there. He did not disappoint. His humor and talent far outweigh all competitors. Definitely would recommend seeing him in concert if you have the chance.

    Improvement

by Monicamariec on 7/11/13House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

I enjoyed the music, but after about 20 minutes of the same gimmick, it got boring. The drum beats and the lyric melodies were all the same and , similar bass lines the whole time. the only thing that changed was the keyboard and lyrics. I think if they added more comedy to the performance it would be more enjoyable.
