Bands were good, but because smoking is allowed on the fairgrounds it was very distracting and annoying.
This was a Great concert, the food was good, and the beer was ice cold !!! A little rain didnt bother me. I cant wait for next year !!!!
Awsome hoping they are planning next year all ready!
Dee Snyder rocked the house! Tom Kiefer sounded amazing! Rick Sprinfiend really knew how to get the croud screaming!
Rick Springfield cannot be in his 60s. He jumps around like someone half his age. Great show...I have to say, I would've been ticked off if I'd paid $150 for VIP only to find that all it bought me was the chance to be 10 feet closer to the stage, and standing room only.... At other outdoor events I've attended, VIP seating is actual SEATING with CHAIRS.
About time Sioux Falls gets some concerts.Need to do the same thing next year.As big as sioux Falls is they should have all kinds of concerts
Attended Thursday and Saturday. Love the larger venue. All the acts were great! Saturday night even with the rain was the absolute best and LYNYRD SKYNYRD was fantastic!!!!! Would love to see them back. This was a great time and hope to see RibFest continue to follow this format.
what a day/night! My wife, son and myself arrived at Ribfest around 3pm last Thursday, ready to take in the Canadian Invasion. Weather was beautiful, bands were amazing, and we spent the entire night up front stage. It was even better seeing the bands that defined my youth.. Honeymoon Suite was on my bucket list, and even more, when I figured they've never played in our area in the past. April Wine, Helix and Loverboy topped it all off. The day got better when Brian Vollmer, lead singer from Helix, spent some time with my son and me talking about the music business and signing autographs. (His band members at one time were over there having fun with the fans too.) More than a great time, and a big thanks to all of them for visiting our state, and Mr. Brennan for lining it all up. He's got a great thing going there, so if he continues bringing these bands in, we will continue supporting it!
